  • 12,000 Churches join Billy Graham's, My Hope Evangelistic Outreach
John, Greg, and Pat discuss how over 12,000 churches have joined Reverend Billy Graham's, My Hope Evangelistic outreach. Billy Graham's Evangelistic Association has been spread out across the nation for over a year working with churches, pastors and individual believers for the outreach in November. They are emphasizing strong interpersonal relationships as a way to share the gospel; the good news of Jesus Christ. The idea is that the believer would minister to friends from a relational stand point maybe get together for a cup of coffee, show a 30 minute video of Billy Graham sharing the gospel and they share their personal testimony at the end. John, Greg, and Pat continue to discuss that people don't care who or what you know until they know how much you care. It has been said that one of the biggest reasons for retention in the some church expressions is because of the relationships they have formed. They continue to share how God was manifesting his presence and blessing among them as they have seen the goodness of God first hand in employment, raises, homes... it's all because of the Lord's favor. God is committed to you; He loves you. He is not the "man upstairs" or "your co- pilot". He is the lover of our souls. God rewards faith. Raise your expectation level when you honor Him. He is the one who is blessing the work of your hands.

  • Terrorists in London Murder soldier in cold blood
Greg, John and Pat discuss the terrorists in London who murdered a soldier in cold blood. Satan wants to terrorize people and cause you to fear. According to CBN two men with butcher knives savagely stabbed and cut off the head of a British soldier outside of barracks after they ran him over with a car. One of them claiming allegedly, eye for an eye. CBN reports that the attacker approached confused bystanders with their bloody hands to deliver a message: "We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you." They continue to discuss this is exactly what America is embracing. Mohammed says in the Koran that Jesus is not the son of God this belief system is the complete opposite of Christianity. The Christian's Bible says live at peace with your neighbors but the Islam book, the Koran, says that the non-muslin must convert, be enslaved or be beheaded. That is a big difference. Where Christianity can live among the many worlds' religions, Islam is a threat to anyone of any faith other than Islam. God's people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. The Koran teaches that the infidel will either convert, be brought into servitude or will lose their head. A radical Muslim is just one who follows the teaching of Mohammed and what is in the Koran. We are embracing what is happening; the church must repent.

  • BUT what I HAVE I give You
John, Greg, and Pat share how many today are throwing money at problems. Money is used so many times to clean up a mess or fix wrongs but money and other things people lean on are not always the answer. Our default setting should not be anything else accepts seeking the Lord. Acts 3 shares an account where a crippled man was sitting outside the temple begging. The Bible doesn't speak to how long he had been there but we can gather that he has been there begging for some time. He resolved in himself since he did not have any legs that his source of provision can only come from begging. One day this man saw Peter and John approaching the temple and asked for money. Peter replied, "Silver or gold I do not have but what I have- I give you." They encourage us that when we don't have anything our answer is not in more money or things but in God. Peter had Jesus on the inside of Him and what was on the inside of him touched what was on outside of him. The man was healed and jumped up immediately. Peter had something that was much more valuable than silver or gold; He had the one who holds everything in the palms of his hands. If you have Jesus you have everything.

  • By FAITH
Greg, John, and Pat discuss what moves God. Does sickness move God, does poverty move God, and does trouble move God? What moves God is faith. If God knows how to feed the birds of the air and clothe the grass in the dirt does He not know how to care for you? Hebrews 11: 1 tells us that, "Now Faith is confidence in what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. You can't have faith in what you can't see. How can we be sure of what we don't see in our hearts? They encourage us to have our confidence in God and stop looking for everybody else. God created the word out of what was unseen when He spoke it into existence and we were made in his image. We must be those who speak in faith and not doubt what we are believing for. It is so important to whom you give access to your ears. Don't let the enemy cast doubt on what you are believing God for. Doubt is something that goes into your heart. Mark 11:24 says "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. By Faith things happen; our confidence must be in God. We need men and women today who are going to move in faith.

  • The Constitution; Rights for all People: We must Empathize
John, Greg, and Pat share about the Constitution and the rights of all people. They share about the journey our founding fathers took to ensure the rights of all people. When we look at the Constitution it is important to remember that it all started with the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The Constitution came some years after and even after the Bill of Rights which includes the first ten amendments. It wasn't until the 14th amendment came that all African Americans received their right of citizenship. They continue to discuss how the church needs to be empathetic to those who were not given rights under the Bill of Rights. The church justified slavery in America and said that African Americans were not human beings. As Christians we need to be empathetic because part of healing me is hearing me. If you never talk about the wealth of the United States that was made on the backs of African American slaves, that is not exercising empathy. God is about to bring justice to America and balance the books.

  • Separation of Church and State?
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the video of the course that is taught at Prager University on "Separation of Church and State" where Professor John Eastman shares the background and the original intent of the founding fathers as it relates to religion and government. The phrase "Separation of Church and State" is not found at all in the Constitution contrary to popular belief. In fact it is found in a letter written by Thomas Jefferson who is credited to penning the Declaration of Independence. The founding fathers never intended for church and state to be completely separate they saw religion to be indispensable to the moral foundation of the nation they were creating. What the Constitution says in the first amendment is that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." The founding fathers wanted to avoid what King George had previously done by combining government with the church. It's important to read the Declaration of Independence and Constitution for yourself.

  • Three Components to Bring Your Vision to Pass: Dreaming, Talking, and Doing
John, Greg, and Pat discuss the three components for bringing a vision to pass; dreaming, talking and doing. Many people today want to be successful but are not willing to do what they need to do to be successful. Proverbs 14:23 "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty." Nothing in life just happens. Anything of true significance must involve a dream (vision), the speaking/ sharing (talking) and hard work (doing). Some are just dreamers they dream and dream but they never share it or do anything with it. Some are just talkers. They talk about what they are going to do but they don't do anything it's just talk. Then you have others that work hard but they don't have a vision or dream, they just work aimlessly. All three components are necessary for success and the fulfillment of vision. They continued to talk about the power of vision and working with intentionality. When people are visionless they fall prey to a tyrannical ruler. Vision gives us hope, focus, clarification, guides us and constrains us. Kingdom vision stirs up others to join and be a part of sharing and doing to fulfill what God is doing.
