Chris, Greg and Pat discuss how religion won't save us.

The Centurion in Luke 7:3-10 had faith in Jesus even though he had never seen or heard him speak but had only heard of him but yet had faith in Jesus to heal his servant who was dying. So many today look for verification to see if something is of God or not. They want to see with their own eyes. But Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is..." Faith is now not later after examining the fruit. The elders of the Jews went to Jesus and said this man deserves you to do this for him... We do not deserve anything from God. We are all sinners and saved by grace. We can't go before the Lord and say I deserve you to do this for me and then lay out our laundry list of deeds. Salvation is a gift of God and does not come by works, Ephesians 2:8-10. Religious works will not get us into heaven. Jesus said to the Pharisees, you cross land and see to make a single convert , and then when he comes you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are. Matthew 23:15. It's time to let go of the old ways of doing things and begin to do the new thing. Believe, trust and become hungry for the Lord.

It was exciting to her that Kermit Gosnell an abortion doctor was found guilty on three counts of first degree murder of three babies born alive during botched abortions. God is answering our prayers. CBN reports that after an 8 week trial that Gosnell was convicted on three counts of murder and would give no comment on the Jury's decision. The clinic was a house of horrors, says CBN. It was unclean and fetal body parts were found spread throughout including inside the break room refrigerator. Greg and Pat discuss how amazing how the blind eye has turned away from justice and share on a couple of teachings on vfntv.com, "No One Cries for Justice" and "We are Josiah". We have joined our faith with many others including with Lou Engle from Kansas City IHOP, praying for thousands of hours, "Dear God end abortion and send revival". What is exciting is that now other judges will have to begin to rule on similar cases the same way. Catherine David, Director of Minority Affairs - Georgia Right to Life, share a testimony with us from her experience of having an abortion back when it was 1st legalized in New York in 1972. It was a horrific experience, she says. "I was heartless and selfish.

In Leviticus 18:21 God says to sacrifice our children is evil and it is done for personal gain. However, if we acknowledge that it is sin and repent God will forgive, heal, restore and use us. A voice was given to the voiceless because of the Constitution that gives every American no matter how young individual rights. A decision has been made by the jury. Future cases will have to take this court's decision into account. You cannot snuff out murder.

Author Mary Eberstadt writes in her book "Has the western World Lost God?", that strong families make strong churches and weak families make weak churches. Families that have faith in God and believe in Jesus are more likely to donate to charity, donate time, donate blood and care for others than those who do not. We are seeing a collapse in family that started in the 60's and 70's when men were made out to be not important. Fathers are being taken out of the home and society has not supported his role and 70-75% said in a survey that that the problem with America is the absence of the father; whether he was pushed out or seduced out; out is out. Fathers are significant.

In this first part of Dr. Carson's interview by Dr. James Robertson, Dr. Carson shares from a time in his youth that he was a very angry and violent young man and always felt that his rights were being infringed upon. He speaks of times where he acted out on this anger even a time he went to hit his mother with a hammer but before striking her in the head his brother grabbed the hammer from behind. One day he reached out to God who then took away all his anger. Some said he was hiding it but his response to it is, "When God fixes it you can't deny it". He was asked at one point what kept him from being racist? He responded saying, being a neurosurgeon, once you get beneath the skin and bone we are all the same color. It wasn't until he found God before he was able to get beyond some beliefs...

There have been ice waves that have plowed into homes in Lakeside Minnesota, says CBN. Many homes have been damaged by these waves crashing through windows and doors. Residents say the waves of ice sound like trains. There have been many weather related catastrophes happening from tornadoes, droughts, fires, hurricanes and even earthquakes that were prophesied about by John Paul Jackson in his word The Perfect Storm. Greg shares how he prophesied for 10 years Malachi 4:5-6, "See I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their father; or else I will come and strike the earth with a curse." And how at the end of those ten years God spoke to him saying "they did not respond" and soon after Haiti was struck with a devastating earthquake and things have just increased since. These things are going to get closer and closer until we repent. There has been a storm fashioned against us; we can repent today.

This is an update to a previous story "The FUTURE of Technology is now- from New Google Glasses to 3D Printing of Body Parts" Where this 3D printer has been used in making live tissue to reconstruct body parts such as ears. Now CBN reports that a Law Student has apparently created a plastic gun using this same printer and has the State Department up in arms citing international arms control laws and congress asking to have these guns made illegal. Greg shares that God is the creator and we are made in his image and likeness and therefore we to are creative beings. But just because we can, doesn't mean we should. During the time of the Tower of Babel, people were able to accomplish many things. But God scrambled their language and scattered them. He did a reboot. Is our nation heading towards a reboot?

Greg encourages us to honor our mothers not only on Mother's Day but every day. One of the 10 Commandments is to honor your father and mother and promises us to have a long peaceful life, if we do so. Take time to honor your parents and let your children see you do it or else you can expect to see the same from them. When you honor them you are honoring God

Greg and Pat discuss what is being called a migration of Muslims. It is said that Europe before long due to the dwindling birthrate, will soon be an Islamic nation because of this migration. The first thing we need to realize is that Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Jews... all human beings, God loves us. He created us in his image. We need to tell them about God and his love for them. We need to see how God see's things, seek out his view point in his word. "Who Does God Love", Saul was persecuting the church and killing Christians. It was right after he stood by and enticed the stoning of Stephen when Jesus met him on the road to Damascus and his life changed forever and is name was changed to Paul who then eventually wrote over ½ of the New Testament. God loved him right where he was. He believed at the time what he was doing was right and so do Muslims. They have just not yet had an encounter with Jesus Christ who died once for all.

They share a testimony from CBN from a former Muslim named Naeem Fazal, who had an encounter with God that changed his life and has given his heart to Jesus. He is now speaking into the lives of Muslims encouraging them to take time to sincerely seek Jesus and know that He wants to have relationship with them

A group of high school cheerleaders were told they could not show banners at high school football games that promoted scripture by the school board when an Atheist organization complained about it says, CBN News. The group said it violated the separation of church and state. "To be a violation of the separation of church and state, the message actually has to come from the government," says Justin Butterfield, Liberty Institute attorney. The Supreme Court recognized that the girls don't lose their constitutional rights at the schoolhouse doors. One cheerleader said the lesson she learned was when you believe in something, stand up for what you believe.

Greg and Pat discuss the word from Rick Joyner "Modern Scribes- Bring Forth New and Old Treasures". The reason we have Bibles today is because there were scribes to write down the words of God that he spoke through Prophets and Kings. The scribe would right out the old and new treasures/moves of God and bring them together. In the past not many were entrusted with the word of God. It was not until the Gutenberg Press was invented in 1436 was the bible copied and distributed which took up to a year to print. Many people were arrested and persecuted for distributing the bible. Today you can find the Bible almost anywhere; in fact you can even download it from the internet. The media today; radio, TV, movies... can be called scribes but mostly of what they share is so dark. We talk about it all the time, "abiding", when you abide with God you become you own personal scribe. We encourage you to get a printed Bible if you don't have one and begin to abide; store up for yourselves treasures from Heaven.
