John and Pat discussed how after Pastor Youcef, who was released from serving his sentence in Iran was rearrested on Christmas day to finish the 45 days remaining of his sentence. He has served most of the three year sentence with the exception of the 45 days. They ask us to keep Pastor Youcef in our prayers. They also encourage us never to forget about the evilness of evil, to stay alert and be on the front lines in God's kingdom.

So many people today are worrying so much about the New Year and over the economy. John, Pat, and Chris encourage us not to worry but rather to trust God. All you can do is what you can do then trust God with the rest. Worry is the interest you pay on tomorrows problems. Worry brings torment, disturbing thoughts, annoyances, and anxieties. Nothing good comes from worrying. We need peace in our lives and we can have it when we trust God and not look to ourselves to try to fix things that we can't control. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

John and Pat share a follow up to a previous segment on VFN Radio regarding the NY newspaper that published the names and address and map of gun owners in NY. According to Fox News, blogger, Christopher Fountain exercised his constitutional right and published the names, address, and Facebook pages of the entire newspaper staff. Fountain like many others was offended, he told CNN he was offended by the newspaper's conflating legal gun owners with some crazed tormented up in Newtown" and wondered how it's employees would handle the same treatment according to Fox News. They continue to discuss that just because you can do something doesn't mean you should speaking of what the newspaper did.

John and Pat discuss the ONE THING conference that will be held this weekend 12/28-31. The share about how much they enjoy this conference because the conference is all about the ONE THING; going after Jesus. They continue to encourage us to end the year and begin the New Year with a heart that goes after God. They encourage us to be hungry for more of God. God moves in hunger. Hungry people always get fed. Be determined to end 2012 and begin 2013 with an increased passion for more of Jesus.

Greg and John discuss how sleeper cells have worked. They are a group of people in some cases terrorists who stay hidden in the background until they are activated and they wake up. They discuss how there are many sleeper cells in the church but all of a sudden they will be activated. We need to be careful that we don't become a sleeping church. One of the ways to staying awake is being on the front lines. They are people who like hanging around but they don't want to do anything. It's time to wake up.

Greg, Chris and John discuss whether we will acknowledge God? Chris talks about Psalms 5 and the faithfulness of God when we cry out to Him. God wants us to cry out to Him and wait with expectation for his answer. David cried out to God and God gave him the victory. The also discussed when King Hezekiah cried out to God when the Assyrian King Sennacherib in 2 Chronicles 32 was attacking Judah and tried to get them to doubt God. Hezekiah cried out to God and God sent an angel and annihilated the king of Assyria's army. Faith without works is dead. Don't trust in your strength, money or even in your home. Trust God and acknowledge God.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how as of today we are just only 5 days away from the fiscal cliff. The House of Representatives and the Senate are at a standstill with neither side budging. The President cut short his vacation which may be he shouldn't have gone on, to make a deal so the country does not go over the fiscal cliff when President's George Bush's tax cuts expire. Allegedly Fox News reports that jailed criminals are excited about the potential fiscal cliff because if we go over the cliff they know that funds will be limited to house criminals and some of them will have to be released. They encourage the President not to let the Bush tax cuts expire. They continue to discuss some of the effects of socialism and discuss a documentary about a London hospital in 1907. We are too blessed of a nation, do we even realize it?

Greg, Pat, and John share about Google's android phone and their alleged 30 second vision. It's not about upgrading your phone it's about upgrading yourself. The commercial shows a phone on the center of a man's chest as he is strapped into a chair. The commercial is essentially injecting you with "Google" android DNA. Greg, John, and Pat continue to discuss the two trees in the garden and man's quest for more knowledge and how that's different from more knowledge of God. Greg shares a prophetic dream about how every square inch of the world will be monitored. We have seen attacks on the original intent of the church, the original intent of the nation and now the original intent of the body that God designed. Also talked about, Ray Kurzeil who wrote the book How to Create a Mind.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how a NY newspaper allegedly publishes a map of gun owner's names and addresses. They discuss how although they have the constitutional right to freedom of the press, one amendment should not be used to interfere with another. They go on to say by publishing the names and addresses they are putting the gun owner's in harm's way as criminals are known to steal guns. They continue to speak about the 2nd Amendment.

Greg, John and Pat share about how John the Baptist was baptizing people that had gathered around him. John was surprised by who stepped out from the crowd. It was Jesus in the crowd and it was not until that moment he stepped out was John able to recognize him. So many people today want to be recognized before they step out. The truth is that you need to trust God, step out and find out. So many are content to be amongst the crowd but they're not related. They are just hanging around. They encourage us to step out from amongst the crowd in 2013.
