Podcast - The Greg Lancaster Show, Live from the Glory Zone.

Greg, John and Pat discussed how the heroes of faith now gone were not ones who looked back but were ones who moved forward with God. They knew that if they looked back they could go back. The church needs this same faith today. When Jesus approached some of the disciples who were fishing for their profession and told them to follow him they dropped their nets and did as Jesus said. We are going to have to set our hands to the plow and go through some things without considering, thinking, and talking about what was left behind to follow God. It's time for a vision. A man says he will follow Jesus and then doesn't follow Him is not fit for the kingdom. Obey God, move in faith, don't look back just follow Jesus.

Greg shares about three men named Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and how they were not willing to bow down to King Nebuchadnezzar but instead were willing to stand for God even at the cost of their lives. These three men were resolute in their commitment to God and refused to bow down and even when more threats to their lives were shared they never shrunk back believing that God could rescue them but even if he didn't, they decided they would not bow down and worship the king. The men were thrown in fire like many today who refuse to bow down but because they chose to stand for God not only did they not die, not only was there no trace of any burning at all God saw to it that they would be promoted by the very ones who desired to take their lives. They continue to share a powerful testimony of a teacher who decided to stand for God and go through the fire only later to be promoted. Are you willing to stand for God when everyone chooses to bow to worthless things?

Greg, John and Pat speak of the recent climb in flu cases as it has been reported by CBN. More people are being infected by the flu this season than what has occurred a decade ago. It is important to wash your hands and even consider getting a flu shot this season. Greg, John, Pat share about the recent school massacre in Newtown Connecticut. They speak about how we need to call things by what they are and in the case of Newtown Connecticut and events like it to call them massacres. They shared how even Hollywood put together a Public Service Announcement to ban guns. Just a few days later someone put together another video with each of the actors in the PSA with their same statements but with additional video showing movie clips of their violent massacre scenes. It is better for Hollywood to remain silent. These were not shootings. The word shooting is okay; we shoot and hunt for animals and target practice but what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary was a massacre. They continue to mention an experiment done with Pavlov's dog that was trained to come eat just by ringing a little bell. Just like Pavlov's dog are we training our children to be killers as they play for hours on video games killing and murdering people over and over again. We are not going to be able to change anything with laws. Change starts at home. Begin to pray about making your home a safe home. Make a stand in what type of games that will not to be allowed in your home even if your will is bypassed at least you took a known stand.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how life is so short when they speak of a young woman who was only 35 when she just passed away. We don't live forever and the only thing we take is what is buried with us. They continue to discuss the parable of the Rich man and Lazarus found in Luke 16:19-31. At the end Lazarus the beggar made it while the rich man who was in torment was asking for help. We need a huge paradigm shift in America when it comes to sharing with the poor. They continue to discuss if many in the church are robbing God in their tithes how can they really respond to the poor among us. Pat also shares about how the book Ecclesiastes in the Bible says how sorrow refines and purifies us and how going through pain allows us to draw close to God in our time of need. He also shared how one woman's encounter with cancer helped her to get her life right with God. Life is short, do the right thing and live for God.

In this moment of wisdom found in Proverbs 3:7-8 Greg shares how this wisdom moment for today looks like the best health care program. He then shares what we must do according to God's word. The first thing is not to be wise in our own eyes, which is pride often resulting in spiritual blindness.

We have to fear the Lord, which is a progressive revelation that though we may have much of the fear of The Lord in our life, there is still so much more to go. Our God enjoys and honors us maxing out in fearing The Lord. Fearing the Lord is to be aware of Him always, to be aware of His commands and seeking to follow them with all our heart, soul, mind and strength all the while being aware of the kindness and sternness of God.

However, this is done when we shun, persistently avoid, ignore or reject evil. Although evil appears to be evil we must be persistent in avoiding it and growing in a healthy fear of the Lord. As we continue to grow in the fear of the Lord and to shun evil we will have health to our bodies and nourishment to our bones.

Greg shares prophetic insight for what is coming. He encourages us to get our seal legs and to brace ourselves. He shares in detail about a prophetic vision the Lord gave him about many people focusing on a little tornado all the while not focusing on the dark sky above and while they were distracted by this seemingly small tornado the sky fell and then turned into water and a huge type tsunami wave was headed west. This was not good. He continues to share that recently CBN is reporting that 46 states have pensions that will be due this year and haven't set aside money for them. The economy will suffer greatly. In this same segment he introduces more prophetic insight from Rick Joyner, of Morning Star Ministries, and his sharing of recent reports according to the International Monetary Fund that the United States of America's true debt is not the 16 trillion that they are reporting but more like $200 trillion. Greg continues to share that you can prepare yourself. You can either put your trust in God or in money. You have to learn how to hear God's voice not only to survive to but to know God and obey him. He continues to share prophetically regarding marshal law and the benefits of good people operating in definitive authority. True authority is such a foreign thing in today's society. The church must learn to move in true authority. Everyone is looking for someone who will do what they say. Great faith and authority are a must. He continues to say that there is going to be a clamp down because of the great lawlessness of the church. We can repent and move in true authority again.

John and Greg discuss John 20 which speaks of what happened when the disciples discovered that Jesus was not in the tomb. Mary Magdalene cried and had no idea of what Jesus told the disciples of what would happen regarding his death, burial, and resurrection. They point out to us that God will reveal to us what we need to know at the time we need to know it. They continue to share that this is another reason to abide with God. It's in our daily communion with Lord, reading his word, hearing his voice, and writing down what he says is how he will reveal himself and his will to us. In this chapter Jesus reveals himself to Mary, the disciples, and also Thomas. When he appears to the disciples one of the first things he says to them and in turn revealing his message is, "As the father has sent me, I am sending you". As we abide the Lord will not only reveal himself to us but he will reveal his message and plan which is simple; share the gospel. Tell everyone that Jesus will not hold their sin against them, repent and turn your heart to Jesus. They continue to encourage us to get started and share our testimony of how God saved us and give them the opportunity to give their hearts to Jesus.
