  • Cracked Pots that Give Glory to God
Pat shares and abiding moment from 2 Corinthians 4:3-7 how as believers we have God's light shining in us but the way the light shines through our cracked pot/ jars of clay is through the cracks. Pat shares that we may be tempted to cover the "cracks", our weaknesses, but it's our weaknesses that actually allow God's light to shine through us. So many people can relate to someone who is real and allows their cracks to be seen so that the light of God may shine through to them.

  • Has God Changed or Have we changed?
Greg asked as a question. Has God changed or have we changed? The quest for knowledge is not the same as the quest for the knowledge of God. Greg, John, and Pat continued to ask what would a generation of men of God in the past like Leonard Ravenhill and Jonathan Edwards think about the status of much of the church today. If the church today would take ten steps back and then draw the line would they even think the Church even knows God. God has not changed.

Greg shares on how Christmas day bad storms that included tornado's, ripped off roofs and caused a lot of damage. He goes on to say how so much tragedy has come upon us lately and so many are trying to figure out why. Jesus counseled his disciples when they had similar questions regarding tragedy in their day. Tragedies show us that life is not forever, the question is, where we will be if we were to lose our life in the tragedy. Would we be with God?

  • No Vision = No Harvest
In this wisdom moment found in Proverbs 20:4 "A sluggard does not plow in season; so at harvest time he looks but finds nothing." Greg shares that a sluggard has no harvest because he had no vision for it. However, the farmer has a vision for the harvest. That vision causes him to work the ground and prepare it so that seeds can be sown. This requires faith and patience. Our country expanded by people who had a vision to go out west and blaze a trail where there was none and one of the results was that America became the bread basket of the world. Ministry is very much the same. We must be willing to plow the heart with love so that seeds can be sown so that a harvest will be reaped.

Greg, John, and Pat continue their discussion about remembering the wonders of the Lord as they continue to recount their personal experiences regarding it, known as the Brownsville Outpouring or Brownsville Revival. They encourage us by sharing how the revival developed since they didn't have a grid or what to expect when God would pour out his spirit in this way. They share about how people would manifest when the power and the glory of God would touch them. They shared about how amazing they felt in the Lord's presence and the renewed sense of energy, passion for God, and Fear of the Lord they experienced and so much more. They encourage us stay hungry for God as this is what moves God. No longer to stuff ourselves with the things of the world but begin to fast the world and hunger after God.

  • One Man Waters, One Man Plants, BUT GOD is the ONLY ONE Who Makes it Grow
Greg shares with us that when you start to do something for God you need to be careful that you are not doing for yourself. The Corinthian church had a problem with measuring themselves and the Apostle Paul addresses this in 1 Corinthians 3:1-9. He goes on to share with us that an insecure man feels less than if he doesn't have a large quantity of stuff or a large ministry. This is pride and if they were ever to get more they would esteem themselves higher. You are not what you do. The Lord has given us each a task, one man waters, one man plants, but God is the only one who makes it grow. We must never judge our ministry by the harvest we reap but rather by the seeds we've sown. The harvest belongs to the Lord. We are all workers in the same field. The harvest has nothing to do with us we are to just continually sow the seeds of the gospel.
