  • The Power of Thoughts
Pat and John discuss the power of our thoughts. Pat shares a story he heard regarding the affects how are inner thoughts have an effect in our outside world. They continue to discuss how dark thoughts will take you to dark places and that it matters what thoughts we allow to run in our mind. Thoughts are sometimes like wild horses they may come around and tempt us to mount up but once we do saddle up, those thoughts will take us to place where we don't want to go. They continue to share the importance of scripture and about renewing our mind according to Romans 12:1-2. They remind us that what we think determines, what we do, and what we do determines what we get. If you don't like what you have been getting you need to change what you have been thinking and you can do that by setting your mind on things above.

  • NFL Football Player Tragedy brings up Controversy over Gun Control
Over the weekend a recent tragedy occurred, involving a Kansas City Chief Linebacker and his girlfriend. Javon Belcher shot and killed his girlfriend and later drove to Arrowhead stadium, thanked his coach for all he has done for him and then shot himself dead, leaving their three month old daughter parentless. Greg, John, and Pat discuss this tragedy, express their condolences and begin to encourage men who are going through life with struggles. Many men today are going through so many struggles and are facing them alone without relationship with other men but most of all without a relationship with God. They continue to encourage men to get rightly related with other men and to pursue a relationship with God. They continue to discuss how this tragedy has brought up the controversy regarding gun control. Bob Costas allegedly took time Sunday afternoon during the football games to comment about gun laws. Greg, John, and Pat continue to discuss how guns don't kill people but people kill people. They continue to share the importance of the second amendment. As they continue to share God's news behind the news they share what is happening in San Bernardino, California where the city's bankruptcies have led them to have to lay off 80 police officers. As a result the city attorney warned residents according to the Sun to, "lock your doors and load your guns". He allegedly says it is the perfect example of why self-reliance is so important; because when the government can't protect you anymore, you have to be able to protect yourself and family. They encourage us to stand for our constitutional rights and to remain close to God.

  • Don't Be Deceived
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the United Nations recent vote to grant the state of Palestine observatory status in the UN. They continue to speak about deception and how people who are deceived think they are right when they are actually dead wrong. Deception is so strong right now that many are asleep but you can choose not to be deceived if you choose to abide with Jesus. America is greatly deceived all the while Israel is being surrounded by a caliphate. It's not going to end well if the "David's" like David in the Bible don't wake up, and free themselves from deception and from their sleep and storm the giants in the land. God directed one man with one rock while most were hiding. Don't be deceived.

  • Take Time to Pause and Rest
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the importance about taking time to rest, especially during this Holiday season, when we remember the birth of Jesus. They continue to share about the value in being related and having relationship with others while you are on the front lines of ministry. It's not good to be alone. Alone is where you will find discouragement; you were designed for relationship. We were designed to function as family. They encourage us to take the time to invest in Godly relationships. Rest, regain your composure and hit the ground running abiding with God.

  • Honor those in Authority
Greg, John, and Pat take some time to discuss and address something dishonorable that was done to the President by Glenn Bleck. Glen Beck on his television program placed a figurine of President Obama in what was a yellow liquid meant to look like urine in a mason jar and tried to auction it on eBay for $25,000. They continue to share that although they have agreed with Glen Beck before on the greatness of our nation they find this act to be very dishonorable. They continue to share that God wants us to respect those in authority. Although one may differ with President Obama on policies and vision for our country, no person and especially no Christian should personally disrespect the President or his family. They also share that the Bible instructs us in 1 Timothy 2:2, pray for those in authority that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and holiness.

  • United Nations Votes to Recognize state of Palestine: Was this a good idea?
Just yesterday the United Nations voted to recognize the state of Palestine to the vote of 138 to 9 in favor with 41 abstentions. Only seven other nations joined the United States and Israel in voting no. This is being seen by many as an actual legitimization of a Palestinian state and as a way to force negotiations between Israel and Palestine. Palestine was granted non-member status, which gives them the opportunity to join the International Criminal Court and lobby for war crime charges to be brought to Israel. Greg, John and Pat discuss how this was not a good idea. There is a radical Islamic strategy for a caliphate to annihilate Israel. They continue to share that as this is going on in the world with so much prophetic fulfillment occurring, the church at large remains asleep and snoring. It is important for the Christian to know that as Israel goes so goes the church. If there ever was a time for Jew and Christians alike to have a saving personal relationship with Jesus, this would be the time.

  • Fiscal Cliff: Will this Crisis be wasted?
Greg, John and Pat continue to discuss the looming fiscal cliff. They share how both congress and the President need to work together because this is what the American people expect. However, it was former chief of staff Rahm Emmanuel who allegedly said, that a crisis should never be wasted. The question is, how far will this administration go? They continue to discuss the fallout Great Britain experienced when they raised the taxes of the millionaires in their country. Many of them left the country with their money to the detriment of the nation. If we continue to raise taxes on the top income earners, what will happen if they leave and move their businesses and money to another nation? The results will be that the rest of Americans will have their taxes raised and will have to pay what the top income earners were paying.

  • Acts of Kindness
John and Greg discuss the recent act of Kindness done by an NYPD officer who bought socks and boots for a homeless man he saw while on patrol in Times Square. The officer noticed on that particularly cold night a homeless man, who was barefoot. His act of kindness was not only appreciated by the man but because a tourist caught this act of kindness with a picture many in social media did as well. This picture was shared 133,000 times and liked 409,000 times on Facebook. Greg and John continue to discuss many of the random kind acts that Christians do all over the world, are not recognize by many because the Bible, Matthew 6:3, instructs Christians when giving to the needy, "do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing." In other words, don't brag or share with others your good works. Allow God who sees what you have done in secret, to reward you in public. Greg and John continue to discuss how many times God, is "liking" and "sharing" all the wonderful kind deeds He sees his children doing.
