In this wisdom moment found in Proverbs 30:18-19

"There are three things that are too amazing for me, four that I do not understand: the way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a snake on a rock, the way of a ship on the high seas and the way of a man with a maiden." With 50% of marriages ending in divorce and 25 million plus children living in fatherless homes, Greg asks the question what happens to the man and why he chooses to interact with the woman the way he does.

In this moment of wisdom found in Proverbs 29:10 "Bloodthirsty men hate a man of integrity and seek to kill the upright" John shares how important it is to have understanding and to grasp what is happening. It can be frustrating to know that something is happening but you don't know the reason why it is happening. He continues to share that the bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 2:11, that we are not to be ignorant of his (satan's) schemes. As a believer you may encounter people who hate you because you are trying to do the right thing before God and man. Often times they are convicted by your presence. This can happen at work, at school and even among your own family. We are encouraged to remember that if they could hate Jesus we are not above being hated. We also learn what we can do when experiencing this hatred. Love, Do Good and Pray.

In this original intent of America moment, John shares about the 4th Amendment and a recent article by Judge Napolitano on Fox.com. They discuss how the 4th Amendment was not just a good idea but was wisdom from what the colonist suffered under the King of Britain. They discussed from Judge Napolitano's article how the King was looking for new ways to get revenue from the colonists, he instituted the Stamp Act. The act required that on every piece of paper in the homes of every colonist there must appear a stamp issued and purchased from the British government. The way the King was able to know if the stamps were actually placed on the items was to allow British soldiers to write their own search warrants. No right to privacy at all. John and Pat continue to discuss how the Senate today is allegedly examining a set of proposals according to Foxnews.com. These proposals involve possible seizure of all digital data and even key strokes as they are being executed without a search warrant and the other is an alternate proposal that will protect all digital data from government seizure by requiring a search warrant. They also remind us how important it is to know the constitution and to appreciate and stand for the rights it affords us that came at a huge price from others.

John and Pat discuss the looming Fiscal Cliff and share a recent article that discusses what happened to Great Britain when they raised taxes on the on the top income earners. What Great Britain allegedly found out was that when they raised taxes on the top income earners that they worked less, deferred income to future years; moved their earnings overseas or just left the country. They also saw a decrease in tax revenue as well according to, thedailycaller.com. They continue to share how the United States can learn from Great Britain. They also encourage the Church that if we are honoring the Lord with our wealth that we have nothing to fear. We are participating in the finance of the Kingdom. They encourage us to pray for resolution and to continue to trust and honor God with our tithes and Offerings.

John, Pat, and Chris take time to remember Zig Ziglar, the world's most popular motivational speaker. Zig Ziglar, who was 86, passed away from pneoumonia. They enjoyed sharing the things they learned from Zig and recalled the time seeing Zig in person. John shares about his career in sales and how much he learned from Zig. Zig Ziglar was a Christian who brought Jesus up in his speeches and writings and taught the importance of integrity for the professional sales person.

In this wisdom moment, found in Proverbs 28:22," A stingy man is eager to get rich and is unaware that poverty awaits him"; John shares although the stingy man thinks he know the way to riches what he actually knows is how to become poor. In God's kingdom hoarding, being stingy, and giving sparingly is not the way to get more however, Luke 6:38 tells us if we give it will be given to us and with the same measure we use it will be measured to us. The Bible clearly teaches us in order for us to get more we must not hold onto things tightly but instead give. Psalm 112:5 says this, Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice.

John and Pat discuss the importance of faith and how there isn't any aspect of our walk with God that faith is not important. They discuss what faith is and how without fait the Bible tells us how it is impossible to please God.

They explore this process as they share about a man named Naaman and his journey in having Faith in God for his healing. Naaman was a military commander who was leprous who it appears would do anything to be healed, that is of course until God asked him to do something that was totally outside of his mind. Often times having Faith in God means getting outside of our mind and ways and surrender to his. Having faith in God also means to walk in humility, total dependency on God and respect for other people and not coming to prideful conclusions
