This week’s episode covers the story behind a beautiful image I captured of while ice trekking the stunning Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina.
Come along with me as I share the story of watching the group before me trek up the glacier in full, beautiful anticipation of the journey I was about to take for the first time ever.
Also learn more about Perito Moreno Glacier, which is not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but also one of the only glaciers in the world that is growing (and not shrinking)! Listen to hear the fascinating reason why.
I hope you enjoy traveling to the amazing Argentina today! I hope it inspires you to get out in nature wherever you are in the world, to reap the benefits of it this week!

This week’s episode covers the story behind a sweet image I captured of a mama bear in Glacier National Park. It was a beautiful moment viewing this amazing creature and also had me realizing the importance of bears and other animals in the ecosystem.
Come along with me as I tell the story of how I, and about 30 other park visitors and rangers helped to protect this mama bear and her two little cubs. We’ll also explore a bit about their importance to the health of the environment and how we as human beings benefit from it.
Punchline: our wellness is connected to the health of our environment.
I hope you enjoy learning about bears and Glacier National Park as much as I did!

This week’s episode covers the story behind a really cool photograph taken in Slovakia this past Fall. It was an optical illusion and an amazing natural phenomenon as two rivers (The Danube and Morava) merged into one.
I couldn’t help but think about the South African term, “ubuntu” as I watched this awesome effect occur. The word is often described as: “I am because we are”. These two rivers coming together to form this beautiful swirling of water and colors… becoming natural art happened right in front of my eyes and I captured it.

“All of us are confronted with negativity, but focusing on something beautiful can help you shift your mind to a more positive place.” Jay Shetty - Calm
Have you ever been in a situation where you’re not feeling well and/or you’re feeling some kind of discomfort… and then you notice something beautiful around you and you automatically feel better?
Well, that’s what happened to me on a boat trip in rough waters this last Fall in Portugal. I was really sea sick… yet, immersed in so much beauty I couldn’t resist clicking my camera… and it made me feel better, doing so!
In this episode I’ll share the story behind the photograph, that I captured in Portugal on the beautiful Algarve Coast.
My hope is to inspire you, the next time you’re not feeling well, to look at the beauty all around you, which could help you feel better, just like it did for me!

Have you ever wondered what was going on when an image was captured? Where it was taken? What was the feeling when capturing…awe, gratitude and magic?
Well, in this episode, I’m introducing a new series called “The Story of the Photograph”, which is essentially the behind the scenes of the image. This first episode goes into the story of finding naturally formed hearts in nature and the cool scientific phenomenon called the Frequency Illusion. Plainly stated, once you learn of something for the first time, your brain starts to notice more and more of it. So when it comes to beauty, the more you seek it, the more it will naturally come into your life (like the naturally formed hearts in this episode)!
I can’t wait for you to hear more about all of this, leaving the episode inspired to engulf yourself more in beauty on a regular basis!

“I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music.” - Billy Joel
“Sing Me A Story” is doing amazing work in a beautiful way, bringing together people all over the world to create music utilizing children’s stories.
Their mission quoted from their website is “to serve deserving families in need through the imaginative stories of their children and the power of music.
With the help of songwriters, we create music inspired by the creative stories of children. These songs and stories remind us all of how much we have in common, raise awareness and financial aid for nonprofits around the world and, most of all, provide families with an unforgettable experience that brings joy and healing.”
This conversation with Executive Director and Co-Founder, Austin Atteberry is bound to leave you completely inspired… from the very beginning of how Austin created Sing Me A Story with his now wife, Sara to the process by which SMAS has gone through to bring together several people to build this beautiful community creating this music and incredible experiences, their story is amazing! The social impact is incredible!
Have a listen and then head on over to www.singmeastory.org to hear the music and see the video coverage of the songs in the making. So touching!

And finally, I’m excited to share that I’m updating my website with new prints for purchase from my recent travels to some of the National Parks. There’s so much power in a photograph… second best to viewing beauty with the naked eye, there are many benefits to viewing beauty regularly, including a boost in mood. You can’t get angry at beauty, so why not have some on your walls? Your purchase will support the work of Project WonderFULL, as well. Check out the new images at: www.projectwonderfull.com/store
“Changing your perspective, changes your experience.” - Anonymous
As the world turns and we are collectively and individually faced with many challenges and bumps in the road, the one thing we have control over is perspective.
For this episode, I’m excited to share a conversation with my new beautiful friend, Shane Svorec (bio below), who a year ago released the #1 new release book: “Broken Little Believer. Finding Purpose in All the Pretty Painful Pieces.”
There is so much beauty in the book where she tells the true story of her life and her journey of overcoming unimaginable odds in hopes that people can resonate with the experiences and find purpose in all their pretty and painful pieces.
Walking away from this conversation, I’m encouraged by the fact that we do have the choice in how we want to live our lives and that if more and more people live in this way, what a better world we would live in.
My hope is that you’ll be encouraged in the same way and at the very least be enlightened by the goodness that Shane embodies.
More about Shane: Shane Svorec is a lifelong writer who resides in New Jersey with her husband, three children, and rescue animals. Author of the #1 New Release, Broken Little Believer, Shane is an expressive and empathetic storyteller who uses her many life experiences to connect with others. Her honest and vulnerable writing touches readers of all ages.
Having traveled much of her life, Shane has learned to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. A believer in the philosophy that pain is never in vain if it serves a positive purpose, she uses her own heartache and life's challenges to bring light, compassion, and understanding to others. Also known as "The Look Up Girl" Shane shares positive messages of hope and kindness and writes about real, relevant, everyday struggles.
Shane is highly involved in her community, President of her local Board of Education, a mental health and crisis intervention worker, a perpetual peacemaker, and a kindness spreader. She just finished her first children's book - expected to hit bookshelves worldwide very soon.

In a world full of fear and trauma, there are people like Derek Allen and organizations like Starr Commonwealth who are actively trying to make the world a better place by supporting, educating and building resilience in children, families and communities. They are leading with courage to create positive experiences for them to flourish.
In this episode, you’ll hear about the beautiful work and programs of Starr Commonwealth under the leadership of Derek (Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Starr)… and the impact that they are making.
This conversation left me with hope for the future of this world, despite the fear and hate that so greatly currently exists. My hope is that it leaves you with the same.

National Parks are full of spectacular things to see… I often feel like I’m on another planet when I visit them!
In this episode come along and hear about seven magical moments from six recent visits: Indiana Dunes, Canyonlands, Arches, Joshua Tree, Pinnacles and Death Valley National Parks.
My focus in every visit is to of course, check out and capture with my camera, some iconic sights, but also to go on the trails less traveled to experience the parks in a different and often times, more magical way… these are some stories of just that!
My hope is to inspire you to get out and experience nature in some way today… and feel so good because of it! (And who doesn’t want to feel good?!)
