Mark and Peter decided to do a live podcast on December 3, and this was the result. It's the final episode of the season, and we're talking about the Coaching Carousel, the TCU game a bit, plus looking ahead to Saturday's matchup with Texas.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! Because of the holiday, we went ahead and recorded a podcast a day early, just like we promised that we would do! As teased on the last episode, BearsTruth’s Amy Pagitt makes her triumphant return to the podcast this week! Also, recording on a Tuesday night has the added benefit of bring right after the announcement of the College Football Playoff Rankings, so we’re talking about that a bit in this episode. Finally, some rankings to not send your blood pressure through the roof! That’s some good news. Let’s do this.

Here’s some of the stuff we’re talking about:

• Gary Patterson’s strange logic behind his decision to go for 2 against OU
• The College Football Playoff Rankings - hey, Baylor’s in a pretty decent spot!
• TCU in Fort Worth on Friday
• The Injuries
• The Weather and which team an inclement weather game favors
• The Revivalry
• Reader Questions! Woohoo!
• Picks of the week
• Bristol Palin’s baby Sailor. Sorry, that should be “baby, Sailor.” She doesn’t have a baby sailor, though if anyone were to put an infant to work swabbing the decks, I guess it would be Bristol Palin. Anyway, don’t let this deter you from listening. We don’t really talk about it. Except for Amy.

Hope you enjoy this one! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

HUGE victory in Stillwater, OK. The Bears stay alive in both the Big 12 title race and the national conversation. Mark's back this week, and we're talking all about the win, and more:

• Art Briles as baker extraordinaire
• All about the defense
• Andrew Billings
• Travon Blanchard
• Shawn Oakman
• Grant Campbell setting the tone
• Some refereeing talk
• All the rest
• Jarrett Stidham and Chris Johnson both have stellar days, despite injuries
• KD Cannon
• All of the offense

Mark was indisposed on recording day, so Peter went solo for the podcast this week. There's a ton to talk about and another live show just wasn't in the cards. We've been putting off talking about OU long enough, so here you go.

Topics:

• College GameDay
• McLane Stadium Atmosphere AND FLYOVER
• Oklahoma
• CFP Rankings
• ALL the injuries
• Oklahoma State

There's a ton there, but given the fact that it's only Peter, "we" make short work of the podcast. If you have feedback, let me know, I'd love to hear it.

Mark and Peter returned to the live format to preview College GameDay, the BlackOUt game against Oklahoma, and take listener questions from the blog. What ensued was a generally wheels-off podcast, which is always fun! About an hour into the thing, TV's Greg Tepper decided to stop by and further derail the entire thing to fun and entertaining effect!

Remember: TEPPER LOVES BAYLOR signs for GameDay!
