    Always a complicated subject but let's begin to tackle how the Kelly and the rest of the Tau lore don't really work. We also look at the past and the confusing nature of how Kelly goes back and forth between concepts like Vash'ya or how everyone is named Kais. This is not a bash, it is trying to understand how we, as a community, can introduce all the lore to newcomers and explain how you have to work a little harder because it's not a single straight line but two parallel ones.

    ADDENDUM: This sometimes happens... But I totally forgot the Cyclic Ion Blaster. Since the recording of this episode, "Commander Darkfrost" from our community on Discord helped me remember. Thank you Darkfrost!


    This is a recovered episode after the quality of the larger discussion got nixxed (we're still working on how to fix it). We discuss the origins of some of the Tau's most foundational tech; Gravitic and railgun technology and how it evolved over the different spheres. We'll also talk about Ion tech and its origins and plasma/pulse weaponry which is hypothesized to be a derivative of gravitic tech.
