In this week's episode, Lucy Howell comes on to talk to me about Pinterest and how it can work for your podcast.
Lucy busts the misconception that Pinterest is a social platform - SPOILER it's not!
How Pinterest works in comparison to other social media platforms, tips on how you can create pins from your podcast and her top piece of advice!
I found it very interesting to find out the shelf life of pins compared to Instagram/Facebook posts and Lucy's extremely important tip of not using the same link in each pin so you don't get shadowbanned!

Hello 2023!
I'm starting this year off with a brilliant chat with Devin Lee (Certified Online Business Manager and Certified Dubsado Specialist)
I wanted Devin to come on and talk to you guys because she has been featured on quite a lot of different podcasts talking about her zone of genius and it got me thinking about how it's a great way to create more visibility in your business as you're getting in front of their audiences.
I thought it might be quite a good strategy for someone who is thinking about starting a podcast and either might not have time to create the podcast themselves at the moment or would just kind of like to see whether they enjoy podcasting.
We chat about why Devin wanted to guest on different podcasts and I love how she uses it to build her network and relationships.
Devin shares her advice on how she started researching which podcasts to go on and setting goals based on how many pitches she wanted to do per month/quarter.
Devin's biggest learn from her experience is how you need to give it some time and the process will start to feel a lot easier!
To finish up, Devin shares about her upcoming Quarterly Planning Party.
I took part in the first round of this and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
If you have some projects (like a podcast) that you need to get off the ground and plan then this may be the accountability you need!
