    Glenn Rhoades is an ELA Teacher at Central Gwinnett High School. He teaches 10th Grade and dramatic writing. Glenn has been a teacher for 6 years teaching 10th Grade the whole time. Interestingly,  Glenn dropped out of high school and went back as an adult learner at age 25.  He then worked his way through college,  paying for his education out of his own pocket. He spent his 20's fuming at society and he  needed to do something that would actually make a difference, So he got a degree in Secondary English Education and is now working on his Master's from Kennesaw State University. Currently, Glenn is growing his beard and refuses to shave until he can  have all his kids back in one classroom.

    Dr. Thea Yurkewecz is an assistant professor and program chair of the reading and literacy committee from the State University of New York at Geneseo . She is a national board-certified teacher, literacy specialist, teacher educator, and past-president of the New York State Reading Association.  Her international work includes coordinating a student teaching abroad program in Bangkok, Thailand, and facilitating professional development to educators in Beijing, China. She continues to focus her research on supporting specialized literacy professionals and preparing future literacy leaders.
    Keith Newvine is a Literacy PhD Candidate at Syracuse University, an 18-year high school English teacher, co-founder of the Central New York Social Justice League, and Vice President of the New York State Reading Association. His research focuses on centering contemporary young adult literature written by and about BIPOC in suburban English Language Arts classrooms to demystify discourses of whiteness.
