Happy Halloween my lovely void folx! This episode is just what it says on the tin and is somehow more structured and less structured than my typical format. John, Mandy, Nichole, Seo and I get all the spooky ooky with Tarot readings and light seance. I did not add music to the body of the show to hopefully hear any...anomalies...we might pick up. This show has very little editing for the quick turn around from Oct 30th to Oct 31st; take that as the warning it is meant to be. Ha!

Somehow at the end, we do manage to read some poetry too. Good for us!

Dean is one of my favorite people on this Earth and he will be one of yours too. We talk how our exposure to a certain show about 2 Brothers (cough*Supernatural*cough) helped us to find our way through ourselves and with our art. Everything Dean does comes from, is created for, and with love. There is nothing more artistic and beautiful than that. Allow yourself love the things that you love, they will carry you through.

We touch briefly on suicidal ideation after the death of a spouse, please be mindful of your current capacity to hold space.

Mara is much smarter than I am but graciously, she does not mention it. We chat about words as family systems and ways to and through the cycles of inspiration. We touch on isolation and separation and what those viewpoints have brought to us. We also fail, as all other poets before us have failed, in describing the mystery that is what ever the hell we do when we are called to create.

There is only one you with your perspective. No one is going to make what you make if you don't do it.

Unfortunately there was some tech issues at the very end but I repeat Mara's info and sign off from there.

Paging David Harbour, Caroline would like to have word with you.

Caroline and I talk and talk and talk and generally have a merry old time. We discuss finding the people to support us and our goals and how, cliché as it may sound, all things do happen in their own time. We hit on the dreaded fallow times of low creation and ways to cope. She highly recommends hiring John Compton and I concur lol. But in all seriousness it it all comes back to the community you create and support and connecting with yourself. Remember, while the hard times are harding and good times aren't gooding, you are still growing and changing more into yourself. Meet yourself with compassion, yes even that gross bit you don't want anyone to see. You can do more things than you could ever imagine because life will sure as fuck will find a way to make sure they do.
