Poetic Properties with Kamplexx Ep.59 ”Growing Pains” 

This week along with this year has been extremely difficult, from catching, fighting, and getting over a horrible case of covid; to dealing with day-to-day emotions and frustrations. This year I chose to focus on accountability and in doing so I learned so much about myself, and how I allow people to treat me. 

It’s been my goal for this year to create an unbreakable wall of peace. For the most part, I succeeded. The journey consisted of me letting my guard down in a lot of cases to see how I would be treated, and taking that knowledge to build more solid armor. 

This is not a year-end wrap-up kind of thing but more so an honest reflection of the necessity of growing pains.

Poetic Properties with Kamplexx Ep.57 Dismantling the dream killer

As the day gets closer the pain intensifies but we must fight through it. We celebrated my son, and the day just did not seem the same without Kynnidy. We got through it, tears and all. The week wasn’t all bad though, I was able to make some connections necessary to my business goals. 

I've completely checked out of social media, just needed to reset so that I can start the year off best I can. It was too much unnecessary energy I was inheriting solely my seeing certain things, on socials on news outlets, and through hearsay so as I always say my energy is the most important thing that I must protect. 

It's been difficult because that is the way to communicate these days. I've been missing out on some things, but also in meditation I have learned more. I have learned to dismantle the dream killer. I hope that in hearing this session, you understand the importance of how you can destroy your idea by giving it to, and or being yourself, a dream killer.

Poetic Properties with Kamplexx Ep.57 “It is what it is” 

I told myself to have a good week and immediately did the opposite, by far the worse week I’ve had in a very long time. Flooded with emotions, gloom, and discomfort. I immediately went into isolation and began to realign my emotions still working through it so this session is important 

This soul-searching voyage creates so much chaos the closer I get to peace, the quicker it escapes me. Accountability has become a thorn in my side it tearing open wounds necessary for my growth it is painful it is confusing but it is what it is. 

Emotional attachment will have you holding on to something that doesn’t belong to you. Be ok with being “ok” with not being wanted or needed. The intent of this session is to give you a glimpse of what it takes to free yourself and to encourage you to understand you are your biggest advocate. Things will not always go your way. In the event they do, be grateful but still understand, it is what it is.

Poetic Properties with Kamplexx Ep.56 The 1619 Affect

It has been a rough two weeks, feeling weighed down more than normal, emotionally. I had to do an emotional reset. The anxiety of knowing better days are coming is conflicted with the reality of them not coming fast enough. The emotional rollercoaster has been a pain in the butt. December is the most incompatible month for me. I have to stay sane and mentally present because the kids need me. More importantly, I need myself. 

As much as I was frustrated for not podding last week, it allotted time to read. I read The 1619 Project. Man! was it life-changing. It connected so many thoughts and emotions that I felt missing in the stories taught in “history” class. It also brought a lot of understanding, in regards to how our families as people of color, taught us. Though this book is hard to read; on the emotional side, it is well worth the pain, tears, confusion, and chaos.

The goal of this episode is to offer a little more understanding as to who you are, and why you do and think in the ways that you do. It's to encourage you to be everything you are supposed to be to gain strength from the negative and do your part to break the cycle.

Poetic Properties with Kamplexx Ep.55 “Simulated Movement"

The excitement and adrenaline from the bday party finally ran out. I was doing good Monday and Tuesday, but Wednesday hit me like a ton of bricks. Emotions were super gloomy and blah, which made for a very difficult end of the week/weekend. However, you all know the motto every day we wake is another opportunity to get to the light.

Once I realized what was happening I took the time to reconcile my emotions, to get things off my chest, and gather myself. In doing like flesh on a hot plate “we are living in a simulation” was seared into my mind. No worries not like conspiracy theory simulation but literally.

My intent with this session was to first clear my mind of the things I was thinking, but also to encourage people to shed their programing and really learn themselves. Its imperative that we are moving in a way that we understand fully and not from outdated programming. Trust me it'll all make sense in the end.

Poetic Properties with Kamplexx Ep.54 “Emotional Representation" 

This week was an emotional roller coaster, from work to the kids. I couldn’t catch a break, but as usual, I kept it pushing. Came out with some emotional scraps and bruises but made it through, nonetheless.

The live episode went great I was nervous, but I needed that moment. I needed to fully eliminate the emotional representative of me as an artist and CEO. It is time that we celebrate ourselves and our accomplishments. 

In this session, I am hoping to encourage you to be whom you were born to be. For you to have the courage to step out on a limb to love who you are. It's important to figure out who you are and maintain that as you grow. We will come across people who will want us to be a reflection of them but we can do so without first knowing ourselves.

Poetic Properties with Kamplexx Ep.53 “It’s necessary”

Excited to have gotten through another intense week. It was a very draining one, had to sit the crew down and update them on where I stand as it results to parental duties. Everything seems non stop and it is taken its toll so it’s time to readjust, slow down and take a deep breath before I respond to things.

Those few seconds you take to breath create a natural obstacle; a deterrent that is necessary for you to align yourself and remain who you are. The goal of this episode is to express the necessity of the obstacles that are place before us. To get us to listen to ourselves; heart, mind, body, soul. Poetic Properties with Kamplexx Ep.52 Identity Theft

Overall this week was smooth, I was able to get in a much-needed cry to reclaim my emotions. It was so freeing and allowed me to identify things I am still working through and, trying to heal from. 

I had one thing on my mind going into this week's session, which was assisting in stealing identities back from our jobs, kids, creations, spouses, etc. Amid our changing, we are tested; heavily to see where we stand. We win some and lose others, long as we can get up; let's get up and get to it. 

The goal of this episode is to give you the strength to check yourself at the door. To help you understand you are not your kids, job, spouse, you are YOU, and you have to know that without a shadow of a doubt.

This week was a better week than others, nothing spectacular happened just was able to heal a little more. Still having a rough time mentally but that’s what these sessions are for.

Going into this session it was heavy on my mind the need for mental detox, we get caught up in societal standards and beliefs; and lose track of our realities.

The goal with this episode is to encourage research and review. To get down to the core of ourselves and detox our mind from past traumas.  It is important to remember these things but allow ourselves to feel the necessary feeling to let it go. It our duty to live the lives we were born to live and not the ones others have planned out for us. Be who you are supposed to be, detox your mind along with your body and get to the light.

In this episode we open with our weekly mental health check, the causes weather has on moods, and the importance of accepting fault without deflection.

We pose the question what is it worth? Your self value, how do you perceive who you are? Has everything you’ve been through to date, taught you anything; if so what? Can you look yourself in the face with certainty of the value you hold; not to others but yourself?

The goal with this episode is to increase your ability to see your self worth. To stand with you in learning how to be selfish properly. It is my intention for you to see the importance of self care rather its mental, physical, or spiritual.  I encourage you to think about everything you give out and then ask yourself are you willing to do that for yourself.
