The Congressional Budget Office projected that the 35 day partial government shutdown resulted in losses of $11 billion, $3billion of which can never be recovered. Finally, the content landscape is becoming saturated. Think of all the various amounts of news you read, Instagram pictures you like, and YouTube videos you watch, it’s all considered content and that’s the problem. Everything is content and it is causing a shift in how we consume it. Jacob Gallagher, reporter for the Wall Street Journal, joins us for a discussion on how traditional content like journalism and magazines are faltering while brand content and content creators are thriving.
