Pony 411

We've got a full house for you tonight! For the first time, all 5 of the Pony 411 crew are together for an episode! We start off with some quick hits like Grey DeLisle being in a fan project, Trotcon announcing some guests, and Gamespot featuring an article on Fighting is Magic.

Afterwards, lacking an episode to discuss, we decide to have a retrospective on ponies from 2012. Favorite things from the show and the fandom. We even talk a little about some low points of the year.

And finally, after being entirely missing last week, fan content returns. Nemesis starts things off with a fanfic that he swears he was reading before EqD posted it. Then Four String follows up with 3 musical selections. So kick back and listen to Pony 411!

Hey, it's our final podcast of 2012! Nemesis Artfan, and LordFunkyFist are here to close out the year. They go over a few quick hits, including news that the next episode of My Little Pony will have the return of Discord!

Afterwards, they talk all about Spike At Your Service. They had some mixed reactions to the episode. Find out why by listening in! By the way, happy new year, everyone!

A holiday might delay things a bit, but it will never stop us. We're here for yet another episode, although it's only Nemesis and Four String this week. Of course, we start the show off with some quick hits, including the title of an upcoming MLP episode.

Discussion then moves over to Apple Family Reunion, Applejack's turn in the spotlight. We talk about the episode for a bit, including the subtle nod to older fans.

We then wrap things up with some fan content, including the return of fanfiction and three pieces of music. Tune in, it's our gift to you!

We said this episode would be a return to normalcy. We lied. But we're here, and that's all that matters. It's another episode of Pony 411, with Four String, Nemesis, and Artfan. We start with our usual quick hits, including cons, comics, and more!

We then talk about Wonderbolt Academy, the newest episode of My Little Pony. Our discussion includes Rainbow Dash's growth as a character, Pinkie Pie's antics, and what this episode may mean for the future of the series.

Afterwards, Nemesis got himself a copy of the MLP season 1 DVD, and he talks a bit about it. Find out if it's worth the money and what he thought of the audio commentaries.

And finally, Four String gives us two songs to listen to. Both are from artists we've featured before, and one of them is a Christmas carol ponified.

Things got a little hectic, but we still managed to put together an episode this week. Welcome to another edition of Pony 411! We have a few news items including the synopsis for Spike at Your Service and Gameloft's response to complaints about their game.

Of course, the meat of the show is our thoughts on the newest episode, Sleepless in Ponyville.  It's the first ever Scootaloo-focused episode. Find out if we think it's a good episode, or a nightmare.

And finally, in lieu of the usual fan content, Nemesis presents his thoughts on the recently released official My Little Pony comic. Spoiler alert: he loves it.

Things will return to some semblance of normal next week. Honest.

Welcome to another edition of the Pony 411 Podcast! Nemesis, Artfan, Four String, and FusionFox start the show by briefly talking about the synopses that were revealed for Wonderbolt Academy and Apple Family Reunion.

We then go on to discuss the episode Magic Duel in detail. And manage to derail ourselves. Several times. And Artfan also makes a joke that was old 3 years ago.

Finally, we wrap it up with 2 songs from Four String. And one of them is a bit... risque. It's a crazy episode, so tune in!

By the way, if you haven't been, you should listen to our shows until the very end. Just saying.

New week, new episode. It's Pony 411 for the 15th time! Crazy, huh? This week, we have a few Quick Hits, including a fan animation looking for help, blindbag pony preorders, some new MLP books heading our way, and more!

Of course, we talk about the new episode. Why wouldn't we? Discussions abound about One Bad Apple, including the earworm of a song and whether this episode actually would succeed at teaching kids about bullying. And that, um, "New York" accent. Yeah.

Finally we wrap it up with four songs from Four String... Including a shipping song. Oh dear. But alas, no fanfiction because Nemesis got lazy. Blame the turkey.

In this episode, the much alluded to FusionFox finally makes an appearance. Really. He joins for our usual Quick Hits, which includes news such as Enterplay having a contest for signed trading cards, a new con in Texas, another con getting cancelled, and Bronycon moving.

After that, we talk about Too Many Pinkie Pies, the most recent episode to air. More specifically, funny faces, hands, and parallels to Lesson Zero. And more. Oh so much more. Nemesis then presents his thoughts on the Gameloft MLP game, with some input from Fusion. They do not pull any punches.

Four String then interviews the Deputy of Public Relations for Bronycon, Logan Biscornet. We get a few details about the 2013 convention, like why they made the move from New York City to Baltimore, and what kind of attendance they're expecting.

Finally, we have some fan content. Nemesis presents a fanfic that highlights the problems with the Gameloft game (he's still bitter), and Four String gives us two long, long songs. Seriously, the two of them combined are about as long as an episode of MLP.

P.S. Look for Four String's new review blog here: http://canterlotreview.blogspot.com/

Here we are. Season 3 has finally premiered. We talk all about The Crystal Empire: what we liked, didn't like, and how it compares to other episodes. We also discuss the story arc that seems to have been established, and where we think it's going.

We also make a brief mention of the episode 6 synopsis and talk a little about the two season 3 commercials that aired. Alas, the usual quick hits and fan content are absent this week. But our usual format will return next week, bringing along a discussion of episode 3 and a review of the Gameloft MLP game.

It's an odd week here at Pony 411. We start off with the usual quick hits, potential season 4, episode synopses, the release of the official MLP game, and a season 3 clip.

Then things get weird. We attempt to discuss which pony we'd vote for if Equestria was having an election. But thanks to all 3 hosts being tired while recording, we derail ourselves. Multiple times. Including talk of cruise ships. Yeah. A glimpse into the true depths of our madness.

But we eventually recovered, and got to talking about some music. Three excellent pieces, courtesy of Four String. No fanfiction because of some game called Halo 4 keeping Nemesis occupied. But fan art comes up. Kind of.

By the way, look for episode 13 in a few days. We're shifting our schedule around because season 3 is here, and we want to talk about the new episodes in a timely manner.
