Pony 411

Welcome to the 11th episode of Pony 411! This week we cover some news including Michelle Creber and family raising money for a Christmas album (with MandoPony!), some cooking merchandise popping up in Europe, the names of several season 3 episodes (skip over 8:00-9:45 to avoid spoilers), and more!

We then go into a spoiler-laden discussion of the recent 8 minute teaser that popped up recently. Can it still be a teaser if it's a third of an episode? Whatever, we talk about our impressions, including what it might mean for the rest of the episode and the animation. Again, skip over 10:54-44:26 if you want to stay spoiler free.

Four String then interviews Laurent Malaquais, the director of the much anticipated Bronycon documentary. He talks of his experience making the documentary, some of the potential concerns and criticisms of the project, the potential impact the fandom will have on the world, and which pony he would dress as for Halloween. You should give it a listen. Seriously.

Finally, we do our usual fan content, but with a slight twist. Nemesis decides to talk (more like rant) about mistakes that fanfiction writers tend to make. Four String then wraps up our show with 4 excellent songs. Not his own songs, though. You don't want to hear those. Trust me.

By the way, we're on Facebook now: http://www.facebook.com/Pony411

Welcome to our 10th episode! First, Artfan does something... weird with his voice, and then we go over the quick hits. This week's include a study on the brony subculture, details on the season 1 DVD, some new merchandise to throw money at, and details of a season 3 episode!

Afterwards, we decide to talk about pony cons, and whether or not they may be getting out of hand. We speak at length about the alarming number popping up, how bunched up they are, and whether the fans and show staff may start feeling burnout from them all.

Finally, we talk about a fanfic and some music, courtesy of Nemesis and Four String.

Since Halloween is coming, it made sense to use Nightmare Night by WoodenToaster and Mic the Microphone for our intro/outro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PCEp8z7FNg.

So a lot of stuff happened this week. We first go into the quick hits of news, like Lee Tockar and the Brony Thank You Fund, MLP comic news, the EqD Pony Pumpkin Event, the Gameloft official MLP game, and more!

After that, we talk about season 3 information from New York Comic-Con and some rumors that are floating around. Those who want to avoid spoilers (confirmed or not) should check out at 9:18 and fast forward to 44:57. We then talk about a recent Daily Dot article making the rounds, and discuss whether or not this fandom is fading or not.

Finally, to wrap up this massive episode, we talk about some music and a fanfic. Hope you enjoy.

P.S. November 10th! WOO-HOO!

It's time once again for the Pony 411 Podcast! In this week's episode, we talk of the official comic having a launch party, a new brony gamer group, Jerry Springer, and... there was something else... Oh yeah, that whole season 3 finally getting a release window thing. Afterwards we turn it over to Four String as he talks about his experience at Canterlot Gardens. He shares quite a few fun stories, including meeting Andrew W.K. Finally, we delve into the usual fan content, including artwork, music, and fanfiction. Yes, fanfiction finally comes back this week. The intro and outro this week are from Flim Flam March by DJBadjuju: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWlwTBnD3yg P.S. Apologies for Four String's microphone, it decided to start dying in the middle of recording. But all is well, he'll have a new one soon.

Despite what Artfan may think, we're still the Pony 411 Podcast! This week, we talk about when season 3 might air, Oppan Gangnam style shirts at We Love Fine, new toys, exercise, a potential movie (hype get), and more!

We then go right back to season 3 discussion and talk about what we want to see happen, because we're just as anxious as everyone else about it. Story arcs! Villains! John de Lancie! Twilight x Twilight?! It gets interesting.

Four String scored quite the interview, with none other than Equestria Daily staffer Calpain! Listen in for some behind-the-scenes details about the the inner workings of EqD!

Finally we talk about some fan content, including some artwork and music. No fanfiction yet again, because Artfan was buried under a mountain of complaints about Apple Maps. Nemesis is forcefully taking fanfiction over next week. God help us all.

Please send feedback to us on Twitter @Pony411 or at [email protected].

P.S. The intro, outro, and interludes are from At the Gala in C Minor by ApocalypsePenguin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQQRcEXaSaw

Not a whole lot happening this week, but we still managed to talk for an hour. Some of the news includes a new convention popping up in Las Vegas, Build-A-Bear and ponies, info about the official comic series, and more!

We also decide to take a look at a darker corner of the fandom, and discuss grimdark content at length. Bring a flashlight. Or cast a light spell if you prefer. It's going to get messy.

Afterwards, Four String interviews Sparklepeep, a cool dude who makes buttons and the like with ponies on them. We also talk about an artist and some music, but no fanfiction. Artfan just kept mumbling something about iPhones. Not sure what that was about.

So avast! Prepare to be boarded by the S.S Pony 411!

Also, don't forget to send questions and comments to @Pony411 on Twitter or [email protected].

(By the way, the intro and outro are from "Twilightlicious" by SimGretina.)

In this week's episode of Shrek Pony 411, we have a ton of news to go through, including more info about the Adventures in the Crystal Empire DVD, convention news regarding Equestria LA and a new con opening in Germany, a bit about about new official plushies (TWILIGHT! HAS! WINGS!), and more (snowboarding. Wait what?). We also talk about the season 1 boxset finally coming to the US and the rise of music from the fandom.

As something extra awesome, Four String interviewed Le Soldat Pony, an exceptional musician we have gushed about previously. And we're totally not saying these nice things just because he listens to our show. Honest.

Of course, we also do our usual fan content spotlights in art and fanfiction.

You guys know the drill by now. Send in questions and comments to @Pony411 on Twitter or email us at [email protected].

Shenanigans are afoot this week for the Pony 411 podcast. Funky decides that he is Zecora! More about military bronies! We discuss the smell of ponies (it makes sense in context)! And Four String is with Tori Spelling? It has to be heard to be believed.

Plus, we talk a bit about merchandise, FiM being nominated for a Tubey, and a breaking announcement about the 3rd Shout Factory DVD that was totally not spliced in. Of course, as per usual we talk about some fan content including a game, an artist, and two songs.

So come on and slam, and welcome to the Pony 411 jam!

And as always, questions and comments can be directed to @pony411 on Twitter or [email protected]
