Our feature presentation was Matteo Garrone's Tale of Tales.

Weird revelations aplenty on this week's Eclectica. Join us as we look at Frankenheimer's subversive classic Seconds, forgotten early Altman in The Cold Day in the Park, Alan Clarke's dense folk minefield Penda's Fen and one of the films lost under the radar releases from 2014 - 99 Homes. Our film of the week was Hiromasa Yonebayashi's Anime When Marnie was There.

This week, its official, Werner Herzog is the king of the internet. In off the Shelf, we look at Michael Mann's Thief, 1976 Horror The Premonition, Peter Watkins' docudrama Edvard Munch and Cristi Puiu's debut Stuff and Dough. Our feature film was Shane Black's The Nice Guys.

This week that skiing gag takes on a whole new complexion. In off the Shelf, we hear some things we'd never thought we would, some brilliant and others horrifying. Starting off the with sole normal duck before going full odd is Flame & Citron, the trio following that are the Witch who came from the Sea, The Night Evelyn Came out of the Grave, and Novecento [1990]. Our film of the week was Duncan Jones' video game adaptation Warcraft.

We've talked about it for it a long time and this week it is here - our musical special. True to classic Eclectica form, though, it was never going to go like other musical specials. With a brief discussion of A Hologram for the King, we dedicated the whole show to all things rhythmic. Off the Shelf features 1960s rock 'n roll with Expresso Bongo, affectionately silly parody in the producers before going full Eclectica with Frank Zappa's 200 Motels and South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker's Cannibal the Musical.

In off the shelf, this week we look at Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Journey to the Shore, Gothic Horror Whistle and I'll Come to you, powerful Glenn Campbell documentary I'll be me and forgotten 1980's Horror Malatesta's Carnival of Blood. Our feature presentation was the much anticipated Green Room from Jeremy Saulnier.

We set out the director randomizer for its first-ever outing, the winner a Mr Dario Argento. With a smaller cast than usual, this week we set our sails to classic-era Hollywood with a detour to a Post-Apocalyptic British countryside. We started off with the Criterion Collection title, It happened one night, before returning with BIFA winning the Survivalist and finishing with German Silent Film The Last Command. Our feature presentation from Dario Argento's filmography is video nasties classic Tenebrae.

This week, everything can be justified if you're rewarded with biscuits. In off the Shelf, we had new and classic Miike with Yakuza Apocalypse, Shakespearean epics from Japan with Kurosawa's Ran, an essay film from Grant Gee in Innocence of Memories. We also have a minority report on Captain America: Civil War. The main event and our feature presentation was our first ever foreign language headline act - the Oscar-winning Son of Saul.

This week we absolutely refuse any second-hand gags, bad Producer Rob. In off the shelf, we had all the best stuff from the 1980s; ridiculous action with the Zero Boys and crazy practical effects and gore from The Bride of ReAnimator. Otherwise, we had forgotten Stellan Skarsgaard picture In Order of Disappearance and gaming documentary Enter the Battlefield— Life on the Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour. Our film of the Week was Don Cheadle's Miles Davis biopic Miles Ahead.

A special of a very different kind this week as we celebrate the UK debut of Criterion Collection. We have news, the question of the week and a trailer of the week all before off the Shelf becomes decidedly Criterion flavoured with Tootsie, The Tragedy of Macbeth, Speedy and Only Angels Have Wings. Our Feature Presentation is the Alan Rickman's final picture - political war movie, Eye in the Sky.
