Clayface is a 2026 American body horror psychological thriller film based on the eponymous character from DC Comics. Directed by James Watkins from a screenplay by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, it is the third film in the DC Universe (DCU). Tom Rhys Harries stars as Matt Hagen / Clayface, alongside Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella, and Eddie Marsan. In the film, after becoming disfigured by a mobster (Dencik), Hagen turns to a scientist (Ackie) who transforms his body to restore his former look. While pursuing revenge, he begins to lose his sanity as he is unable to recognize himself. It is produced by Matt Reeves and Lynn Harris alongside James Gunn and Peter Safran of DC Studios.

After expressing interest in a Clayface film both publicly and to DC Films for their DC Extended Universe (DCEU) franchise, Flanagan pitched the project to the newly formed DC Studios in March 2023. The film and Flanagan's involvement were confirmed in December 2024 as part of the DCU, the successor to the DCEU. Flanagan was unable to direct the film due to scheduling issues. Watkins was hired in February 2025, Amini was rewriting the script by May, and Rhys Harries was cast in June. Additional casting took place in the following months. Filming lasted from the end of August until the start of November 2025, taking place on location throughout Liverpool and on soundstages at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in England.

Clayface premiered at the Hollywood Legion Theater in Los Angeles on October 13, 2026, and was released by Warner Bros. Pictures in the United States on October 23, 2026. It is part of the DCU's Chapter One: Gods and Monsters. The film has grossed $48.8 million worldwide.

NAZA is a 2026 British documentary film written and directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. Produced by The Guardian and JW Films, it investigates the integration of artificial intelligence and automated surveillance in military targeting systems used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during the ongoing Gaza war and genocide. Its title is derived from Nezek Agavi (Hebrew: נזק אגבי), the Hebrew military term for collateral damage.

The film premiered in the main competition of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival on 10 September 2026, where it won the Special Jury Prize, going on to secure theatrical distribution in over 50 territories. It was theatrically released in the United Kingdom by Dogwoof on 16 October. A global streaming release on The Guardian's website is due to follow in late November.

Despite not having had a theatrical release in Israel, the film caused political controversy there due to its accounts of the country's actions in Gaza, and prompted threats against Abraham and Szor, including threats by the Israeli government to revoke their citizenship, while the IDF denied the claims presented in the film. Internationally, the film has been widely acclaimed by critics following its theatrical release.

The Social Reckoning is a 2026 American biographical legal thriller film written, co-produced, and directed by Aaron Sorkin. A follow-up to The Social Network (2010), it dramatizes the 2021 Facebook leak by the whistleblower Frances Haugen and Jeff Horwitz. It stars Mikey Madison, Jeremy Allen White, Jeremy Strong, Bill Burr, Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin, and Billy Magnussen.

In the years since its release, Sorkin had expressed interest in writing a follow-up to The Social Network should it involve its director, David Fincher. The Social Reckoning entered development in June 2025 with Sorkin attached as both writer and director. Casting was also underway that month, with Strong being hired to replace Jesse Eisenberg as Zuckerberg in September. Principal photography began in October 2025 in Vancouver, Canada and wrapped that December. Sorkin and cinematographer Jeff Cronenweth were the only major cast or crew members to return from The Social Network.

The Social Reckoning was released by Sony Pictures Releasing in the United States on October 9, 2026. The film received mixed reviews from critics, who considered it inferior to its predecessor.

Digger is a 2026 American satirical black comedy film directed, co-written, and co-produced by Alejandro González Iñárritu. Tom Cruise, who also produced the film, stars as Digger Rockwell, an aging oil magnate whose drilling sets off an ecological disaster. The supporting cast includes Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Jesse Plemons.

Iñárritu conceived the idea for Digger after working on The Revenant (2015). He wrote the screenplay with Sabina Berman, Alexander Dinelaris Jr., and Nicolás Giacobone, from a story by Iñárritu, Berman, and Jez Butterworth. Filming took place from November 2024 to May 2025 in the United Kingdom.

Digger premiered in London on September 22, 2026, and was released theatrically in Mexico by Warner Bros. Pictures on October 1, 2026, and in the United Kingdom and United States the next day. It is the final film release by Warner Bros. before the acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by Paramount Skydance on October 6, 2026. The film received polarized reviews from critics and has grossed $21.7 million on a production budget of $125–180 million.

Sense and Sensibility is a 2026 period romantic drama film directed by Georgia Oakley from a screenplay by Diana Reid. It is based on the 1811 novel by Jane Austen. The film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Esmé Creed-Miles, Caitríona Balfe, Frank Dillane, Herbert Nordrum, George MacKay, and Fiona Shaw.

Sense and Sensibility was released in the United Kingdom on September 25, 2026, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 16. The film received generally positive reviews from critics.

Pressure is a 2026 war drama film directed and edited by Anthony Maras and written by Maras and David Haig, based on Haig's 2014 stage play. The film stars Andrew Scott as meteorologist James Stagg and Brendan Fraser as Dwight D. Eisenhower as the pair work to plan the Normandy landings during World War II, alongside Kerry Condon, Chris Messina, and Damian Lewis.

The film was released in the United States on May 29, 2026, and in the United Kingdom on September 11, 2026. It received generally positive reviews from critics.

Resident Evil is a 2026 horror film directed by Zach Cregger and written by Cregger and Shay Hatten, based on the Resident Evil video game franchise by Capcom. It follows Bryan Hodukavich (Austin Abrams), a medical courier who must fight through an outbreak of infected monsters in Raccoon City. Zach Cherry, Kali Reis, and Paul Walter Hauser feature in supporting roles.

Constantin Film began planning a reboot of the Resident Evil film series in early 2022, following the failure of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021) and the cancellation of the 2022 Netflix television series. Cregger was hired in January 2025, and Sony Interactive Entertainment's PlayStation Productions joined the production. Four studios, including Warner Bros. Pictures and Netflix, bid for the film rights, with Sony Pictures winning in March. Filming began in October 2025 in Prague.

Resident Evil premiered in Los Angeles on September 15. It was theatrically released in the United States on September 18, 2026, by Sony Pictures Releasing. It has grossed $108.5 million at the box office and received positive reviews from critics, becoming the highest-rated film based on a video game on review aggregators Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic.

The Death of Robin Hood is a 2026 American thriller film starring Hugh Jackman as Robin Hood in a dark adaptation of the 17th-century ballad Robin Hood's Death. Written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, the film also stars Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett, and Noah Jupe. It follows an aged Robin, who is tormented by his past killings as an outlaw and living in self-imposed exile. When he is wounded, Robin takes refuge in a priory, where he befriends the prioress and an orphaned girl.

Filming took place in Northern Ireland in 2025 under the production of Lyrical Media and RPC. It premiered at the 73rd Sydney Film Festival on June 12, 2026, and was released in the United States on June 19, 2026, by A24. It received mixed reviews from critics.

I Want Your Sex is a 2026 American erotic comedy thriller film directed by Gregg Araki and written by Karley Sciortino and Araki. It stars Olivia Wilde, Cooper Hoffman, Mason Gooding, Chase Sui Wonders, Johnny Knoxville, Margaret Cho, Roxane Mesquida, Charli XCX, and Daveed Diggs. The film combines elements of a crime procedural with parody of both contemporary art and BDSM sexual practices.

The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2026, and was released by Magnolia Pictures in the United States on July 31, 2026.
