Ma'am an was a great man and a great soldier. He was a hero in the eyes of many, but he had one large problem, he was a leper. God in His providence brought his healing.

The Lord Jesus our Saviour has lifted many deep dyed sinners our of the mire of sin. On His way to Jerusalem, He met a man who had climbed up into a sycamore tree, the Lord called him down , saved him and made him a wonderful trophy of grace.

After forty years leading the children of Israel through the wilderness to the borders of the promised land, it was time for Moses to home to be with the Lord. After faithfully serving the Lord, the time had come for him to go up the higher service in glory.

In another one of the musts of the Master, the Lord Jesus spoke about the work that He must do, to fulfil His Father's will. He spoke about how the night was coming when no man can work, but the Saviour had His own night to pass through.

Moses was chosen by God to lead the Children of Israel out of Egypt to the promised land. During that time he had to deal with and overcome many difficulties. Among those difficulties, was being criticised by those who he was helping. Moses the man of God that he was, knew how to deal with the critics.

The Lord Jesus made it clear that He would not be stoned to death, nor would He be cast down from the brow of a hill, but rather, He would be lifted up to die. Let us always seek to lift up Christ before the eyes of those whom we come in contact with.

When a child of God spends time in the presence and in communion with his Lord, the evidence of that will be seen in the countenance of that believer. Such was the experience of Moses, after spending forth day and forty nights in God's presence his face shone.

Many times in the gospels, the word must appears in relation to the Saviour's public ministry. We read about one of those musts in relation to His work of soul winning, as well as His work of soul saving.

Moses was a man who spent much time in the presence of God. He was a man who poke face to face to God, and saw something of the glory of God. As a result, his face did shine with a reflection of God's glory.

The Twelve year old Lord Jesus made it clear to Joseph and Mary, that He must be about His Father's business. Even as a lad of twelve He was aware of the will of His Heavenly Father for His life. The dear Saviour spent His life on earth serving His Father, until He finished the work.
