#127// We've got to have a "Come to Jesus" around this lie we believe . . .
You know it's a lie, right? I mean, God created you and placed you into a world where He made time "a thing." That means He was totally aware when He created works for you to do (Ephesians 2:10) that you were going to need "enough" time to get things done. So why is it that that we can find ourselves believing that we don't have enough time to get things done in our lives?
I believe there are three practical reasons for why we experience the feeling of "not enough time." I also believe there is one common, underlying mindset we carry that drives us to believe that we don't have enough time. On this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast, we're going to get into it. So if you're ready to get radically released from the stronghold that is the lie of not having "enough time," I want you to grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let's Go!

#126// If your day is fraught with overwhelm and overly emotional reactions, it might be time to look at your quiet time, Sis (or lack thereof).
I know that might sound like I just got all up in your business real quick, but this is one of the easiest fixes when we find ourselves stuck in patterns that don't serve: Spending QT with Jesus consistently. If you've been feeling like life is way harder than it should be, check your quiet time.
Most times when I get into a conversation with someone about this topic, they will say to me, "Erica, I want to have a quiet time every day, but I find that I don't have enough time for it." Listen, friend -- it's quality over quantity. Most folks who say this to me are saying it because they're trying to find a spot to do a two-hour deep dive or lay on the floor and soak in Jesus until their adrenals wake back up. But what if I told you that you could have a life changing experience if you simply set 30 minutes aside, first thing in the morning, to hang with Jesus? Would you do it?
In this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast, I'm sharing the five components of an effective, 30-minute quiet time. I've been doing this routine for over a decade and I'm telling you -- It will fix your days. Seriously. So, if you're ready to make the commitment to a daily, 30-minute, first-thing-in-the-morning quiet time and want to learn about how to get it done excellently, grab your Bible, a journal and a pen, and . . . Let's Go!

#125// What about your life would be radically different if you had a consistent and highly effective prayer time each morning?
Listen, I get it. We're all busy, right? We'd like to just be able to multitask our convo with God each day as we're taking care of the practicalities of life at the same time.
But I've got to be honest with you . . .
Prayer works best when it's a regular, one on one conversation with Him. And it's most fruitful when we have a convo like that every single day, first thing in the morning.
On this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast, I'm giving you a three-step process for effective prayer and I'm handing you a free guide you can use to make implementing the process almost effortless. So if you're ready to up-level your prayer time in almost no time, grab your Bible, your journal and your pen, and . . . Let's Go!
GRAB THE FREE PRAYER GUIDE · Want a different cadence for your day? Want to see things through the lens of joy and confidence while you easily let go of anxiousness and overwhelm? Then it's time to up-level your prayer time, Sister! Grab this FREE resource, The Jesus Girl's Guide to Effective Prayer, and put it into practice right away. #124// Job was sifted by the devil. So was Peter. Question . . . Are you being sifted?
On this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast, I'm sharing the message I shared at our most recent REVIVE Woman Girls Night Out. This one is all about getting delivered, my friend, in the most "normal" of ways. And also about knowing how to navigate the sifting season without pressing the "eject button" and having to repeat the process all over again later. How can you make it through a sifting to come out with the testimony in your mouth that overcomes the enemy? If you'd like to know the answer, I want you to grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let's Go!
THE 10-DAY QUIET TIME CHALLENGE · Have you been struggling to have an effective, daily quiet time with God? What would it mean to you if you could successfully spend 30 minutes with Him first thing in the morning -- reading some scripture, praying and even journaling a bit -- in such a way that it upleveled your cadence and outlook for the rest of the day? If this is something you're wanting, I've got you, Sis! Join me for the REVIVE Woman 10-Day Quiet Time Challenge happening May 1st through the 12th. Go here to learn all the details and to get signed up: revivewoman.org/QTChallenge.
#123// Is your invitation falling flat because you haven't realized it's actually a process?
I'm sharing a message I recently shared at my home church of REVIVE Church of Tampa around what it really takes to effectively invite someone to Come and See what Jesus and His Kingdom. Whether, for you, that means inviting someone to a church service or simply into a conversation about what Jesus has done for you, it's generally going to take more than just one "touch." As I've studied the story of Jesus inviting the Samarian woman at the well to Come and See, I've noticed seven distinct steps to an effective invitation.
It's time to press back on the disappointment that has come from asking someone to visit your church, only to hear "No" repeatedly. It's time to let go of the false expectation that the direct invite is the only step in truly encouraging someone to Come and See. If you're ready to learn the seven steps of an effective invitation, I want you to grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let's Go!
JOIN ERICA FOR OUR NEXT REVIVE WOMAN GIRLS NIGHT OUT ON FRIDAY MARCH 24 @ 7PM ET · Join Erica in person at the REVIVE Church of Tampa campus in West Tampa, FL or online via streaming on our REVIVE Woman Facebook page as we TESTIFY to the goodness, the glory and the grace of God. What's your testimony? Let's gather and be encouraged, empowered and equipped to make our sound into the earth for Jesus and His Kingdom. For more info and to RSVP go here: revivewoman.org/gnoinfo.
#122// Let's talk about the stress competing priorities can bring.
It's the worst, right? You just want to do the things you're meant to do. You want to run your race well. But then . . . you find yourself with overwhelming handfuls of responsibilities and tasks -- ALL which feel vital and MANY that are competing for the limited time, resources and energy you have. What do you do?
For many of us, this is right where we get taken out with overwhelm. We settle for the approach that says, "Well, I'll just do the best I can. It can't all get done. So let me just get done what I can." Has there ever been a more self-defeating cadence of words to speak over yourself? You're prophesying your failure before you even get started!
Listen, the problem isn't that you're not equal to the task of doing all you were made to do. The mistake made is in believing that every single thing that presents itself to you with urgency is something you were made and assigned to do! And there's also some breakdown in the process by which we prioritize the things we were actually made and assigned to do. The lack of clarity when it comes to priorities is wearing us down!
Do you want to know what the Biblical standard for prioritizing responsibilities is? Do you want to learn how to diffuse a lot of the stress and anxiety that comes from competing priorities in your life? If your answer is yes, then this week's episode is for you! Grab your Bible, your journal and your pen, and . . . Let's Go!

#121// I'm sharing an excerpt from this month's Jesus Girl Gang Masterclass.
When you make a sound for the Lord, it can move things. It can stop things, it can start things. It can even sustain things. And, listen, I'm not here for the whole "Christians can't manifest anything" conversation. That is simply an unbiblical stance. If you speak the word of God out of a believing heart then you have no choice but to watch things manifest from the sound you've made. Isaiah 55:11, my friend. Also, go check out episode 88 of the podcast -- Is Manifestation a Christian Thing?
On this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast, I'm sharing a piece of the message I shared at our JGG Masterclass this month. Let me warn you as we step in: I'm talking quantum physics, demonic portals, conspiracies and the science of sound on this one. Are you ready to go on a bit of a Holy Spirit-sanctioned "woo" journey? If so, I want you to grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let's Go!
THE GBX BURN CHALLENGE STARTS FEB 27 · For years as a health coach, I avoided offering weight loss programs and products to my community because I found most of them to be toxic and trauma-inducing. Nearly every program or product I came across absolutely ignored the foundational health issues and root causes that drove the weight gain symptom to happen in the first place. Until now.
Amare, the company I proudly partnered with four month ago, just launched a new product and program that takes a foundational health approach to weight loss and healthy body composition. I'm excited to invite you into the GBX Burn 90-Day Challenge with me! #120// Discussions about weight loss are tricky. Always have been, but over the past few years it seems like the "danger zone" around this topic has become much wider and a lot sharper. Is it just me, or are you sensing this, too?
I've been on both sides of the weight spectrum during my life. During my first pregnancy, at age 34, I gained over 100 pounds. And I was only 120 pounds to begin with! No matter what I did during that pregnancy, I couldn't keep from gaining weight. As I fought through borderline gestational diabetes, I remember being in literal pain from the amount of weight I was carrying on my frame. I felt powerless and ashamed that I had "allowed" myself to get this way. I had no idea my situation had absolutely nothing to do with willpower or self-control.
During my second pregnancy, I started out pretty good, but at around month six, things took an old, familiar turn. It was during my eighth month, at a routine check-up with a midwife I hadn't met with before that I was scolded for putting on so much weight and told, "It's as simple as calories in and calories out, dear. Control it." Again, I felt shame and fear that, no matter what I tried, I couldn't control my weight. I worried during those weeks that I was putting my baby in danger, and that I was a bad mom.
But after giving birth to my second son, I lost every bit of that pregnancy weight -- and then some! -- in less than two months. I spiraled into postpartum anxiety and dealt with almost-daily panic attacks. I wasn't eating or sleeping well, and I was constantly worrying and pacing. I dropped to a dangerously low weight. Others complimented me on my ability to get my "pre-baby body" back, but inside I was afraid. I knew something was very wrong.
Fast forward through years of pursuing foundational, holistic healing and I've come to learn something very important: Weight issues are rarely an issue of self-control and will power. Weight issues -- whether it's more than you were designed to carry or not enough to sustain you properly -- are always a symptom of a deeper root condition. Nine times out of ten, these issues run right through digestive and hormonal imbalances, and stress always plays a part.
On this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast, I wanted to open up a discussion about happy, healthy weight so we could deal with the shame and fear, once and for all, and find strategies to harness the power of God and bring it to bear on our weight loss (or weight gain) journeys. Is this a conversation you need to sit in on? If so, I want you to grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let's Go!

#118// Have you been self-sabotaging? Lately, I've been making some "big moves" in the business and ministry space. If I'm being honest with you (and that is always my intention here on the podcast), I've got to admit that I am coming up on a familiar roadblock. You see, I've been around this mountain before -- at least six times, actually -- and there's always this spot where I start to freak out and think that "it's not going to work" and "all this effort I'm putting in is going to be an absolute waste." And it's right in this spot -- every time! -- that I seemingly "identify" this really big issue in a different area of my life that needs immediate attention. So I swing my attention and effort over to this "big problem," and begin to tell myself the story, "See! This is why I can never get all the way there. This is why I don't see breakthrough."
Are you familiar with this story or any of these thoughts and "happenings?" Do you find yourself getting 80-90% of the way to breakthrough, and then it just never fully breaks through? Do you find yourself daydreaming and planning for days (and weeks and months and years) and never quite actually starting? Do you find yourself "stuck" and justifying your stuckness by pointing to past failures and pain and saying, "See, I don't want that to happen again. So I'm being so smart by not 'taking the bait' and continuing to the finish line."? Do you find yourself getting distracted with other "shiny objects" or seemingly "five alarm fire" issues and pivoting away from the fight you've been called to finish? These are all indicators of self-sabotage, my friend. I think we need to talk about it.
In this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast, we're going to call out this self-sabotage stuff, understand where it comes from, and discuss Biblical principles and strategies that can help us to stop doing it so we can finally step into the fullness of victory that God has planned for us. Are you ready to get all the way there in the things God has called you into? Are you done partnering with the enemy in his strategy to take you out from the inside? If so, this episode's for you. Grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let's Go!
