Clare County Council is seeking public submissions to identify areas that are commonly used for swimming/bathing, but not currently designated as bathing waters.

Those who may be a regular swimmer and want to help the local authority decide which bathing areas should be designated as bathing waters are being encouraged to have their say.

Alan Morrissey on Tuesday's Morning Focus spoke with Brendan Flynn, Senior Executive Environment Engineer with Clare County Council, and Kay Nolan from the local authority’s Environment and Water Services Department about this.
