It's been a HOT minute since we got to have a good old fashioned rambling episode, but A LOT has happened in the last few weeks. This episode Mike and Erica dive into the latest winter tour posters, specifically for Dave & Tim Mexico 2025 and the Goose Winter Tour. There's a ton of prints to discuss, including (but not limited to) D&T prints by artists Josh Noom, Brian Steeley, Daniel Danger, Max Mahn, Joaqun Nava, and Goose prints by artists Tiffany Chin, Schnitzelbearstudios, James Flames, Lewy Jones, Dave Kloc and Max Loffler.
Deep dives coming soon for a few prints we were able to get in hand.

One of the best parts of this podcast is meeting the incredible people behind the art and the music that brings us together. Today's episode brings a fun and joyful conversation with Caroline Herbster and Chase Lynch of Rising Tide Art Studio. We had the pleasure of meeting Caroline and Chase at the Chucktown Flowdown aka the Artist Vendor Market/Fair in Charleston, SC this past December. Caroline is the maker behind the live artwork at many of our favorite concerts (like Goose, Billy Strings, Phish ... just to name a few). Her artwork is an extension of the music and the energy at the concerts she attends, and WOW, it's like magic.
Our conversation flows through her childhood as an avid music goer (thankful for wonderful parents bringing their kids to shows!), her teaching background and post-pandemic era desire to dive into creating artwork. We loved hearing Caroline and Chase's story about how Rising Tide has impacted the incredible community within music and art, and where they're going in the future (hint hint- it's where the music takes them....). We love Caroline and Chase's heart for their fellow artists and the incredibly supportive community that's been built - and the wonderful official Goose management team that's given fan art a place to grow!

Goosemas 11 (2024) was one for the CORE MEMORY BANK! Join us as we relive the weekend of the annual event that is "Goosemas" by the band Goose. This epic weekend was a lot to digest, and we did our best to share the highlights of our experience. Erica and Mike walk through their weekend starting at the Night Zero pre-party event at Holy City Brewery, to the Night Zero event at the famous "Pour House" in Charleston, with the band Dizgo. Topping it off with 2 (two) nights at the North Charleston Coliseum for the BINGO themed shows. We touched on the incredible artists we got to get posters from (Dave Kloc, Jim Mazza, Luke Martin,Todd Slater and Andrew Sax), as well as MANY incredible artists and fan-inspired merch (by Caroline Herbster of Rising Tide Art Studio and Michayla Shay of Cats Under the Stitch, Type-2 Designs and so much more). Stay tuned for a second part episode where we focus on the Goose fan-artists community and the incredible artists behind the names we are becoming raving fans of.
If you haven't checked out Goose yet, check them out on their YouTube channel, or Nugs! Don't forget to subscribe and follow for more posters, merch and art coming this year.
Were you at Goosemas? What was your favorite moment!?
T'was the weekend before Goosemas, and the podcast was stirring, with visions of PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE musings in their head. If you are unfamiliar with the band Goose, or a new listener to their music, today's episode is dedicated to their annual "Goosemas" event. Since 2014, the band has celebrated this event, and has grown in it's following over the past 11 years. Goosemas 11, which takes place in North Charleston, SC is happening on Friday December 13th and Saturday December 14th. Mike and Erica look back, upon the ghosts of Goosemas PAST, where we are headed in the PRESENT, and what we think the FUTURE looks like. Join us as we discuss the event, posters, and venues that are all leading us to the 11th year of Goosemas. Shout out to the artists of the past (including Will Thrasher, Jonny Lovering, Brian Steeley, Twin Home Prints, David Welker, Travis Gillian, Jim Pollock, The GrassPot, and newly inducted Dave Kloc and Jim Mazza) to the Goosemas print hall of fame.
Are you attending Goosemas 11? How many posters are we expecting this year?
Hold your horses people. This episode is JAM packed with content. Mike and Erica recap their entire NYC weekend, including BOTH nights of the Dave Matthew's Band at MSG, and the incredible benefit concert "SOULSHINE" which was created by Mr. Warren Haynes, DMB, Nathaniel Rateliff, and Goose (and MANY more amazing guests to list). Listen in as we gush about the merch, the posters, the MUSIC and the people we got to experience this incredible weekend of music with. This was a long episode, so we appreciate listening and all the people who came up to us and introduced themselves, said hello, helped us with posters and merch, and more. We are so grateful for the community and fans that have been so welcoming to us since starting this podcast. You all fuel our desire to keep going and bring you more content and episodes and artist conversations.
We're you at DMB or Soulshine? What was your favorite moment?
Join us for an artist interview with Chelsea Housand, from @housandarts as we take a deep dive into her recent "dragon" print from Goose the Band, Night 3 of their 30night run of shows in Cincinnati, Ohio. We talk all things from art, to music, to fantasy books! It's an EPIC episode, you do not want to miss this. We loved the opportunity to get to know Chelsea and share her story on how she got into being a gig/poster artist. Check out her work on social media across all platforms @housandarts! We are thrilled to have a piece of her artwork from an incredible show we attended!
How are we already at 50 episodes? We are beyond grateful for our friends and listeners, who have championed us to keep going and creating content and bringing you the conversations you are excited to hear! Today's another fun musing conversation where Erica and Mike chat about their recent trip to Winston Salem, NC to see Goose for their Western NC benefit concert. We got to share the excitement and joy with some of our friends and got to connect with the team at Conscious Alliance (the amazing non-profit that bridges art and philanthropy), get some cool fan-made merch from the "Seekers on the Ridge" Vendor Market at Fiddlin' Fish Brewery.
We chat about where we are headed: 3 night run in Cincinatti, OH for Goose, 2 night run for DMB at MSG, 1 benefit concert "Soulshine" in MSG, and 2 nights at Goosemas!
We can't wait to see you on the road.
It's the quiet time between the busy-ness and music of summer, and the lull before the crispy air and fall tour season. Mike and Erica chat all things end of summer tour, some September events (including our universally guided meet up with the band members of Goose), some upcoming excitement about fall and winter tour dates and some "recent acquisitions" to our poster collection. This is an exciting time of year where we are jazzed about seeing some music, meeting up with friends and seeing what new art we will be able to scoop! Huge shout out to some of our amazing friends and other podcasts over at The Slow Ready Podcast and The Pod that Jane Likes (both can be found wherever you listen to podcasts). If you haven't gotten into the band Goose, highly recommend starting with their album entitled "Dripfield", and go from there. If you are a Nugs.com subscriber, plenty of live music to stream as well!
Where will we see you on fall tour?
Episode 48: I'm Blown Away because we are overjoyed to be able to deep dive on one of the most unique diptych pieces done for the Dave Matthews Band! Today's episode, we are reviewing the 2 night poster set by artists (yes, plural) Todd Slater and Ben Kwok (aka Bioworkz) for the shows at Fiddler's Green Amphitheater in Greenwood Village, CO. This was the first artist collaboration for the Dave Matthews Band- and it was EPIC. Not only do Mike and Erica review the posters, we had a special guest join the podcast... Mr. Todd Slater himself! Join us as we chat all things art and collaboration with Todd. You can find Todd's work at @toddslaterart on Instagram and his website is www.toddslater.net.
