She became a passionate advocate for cannabis after a kneecap injury led to her discovery of the medicinal benefits of the plant. She went on to found a company to bring wholesome organic products to market, while also Co-founding the MA Hemp Coalition and serving on the board of directors for the Northeast Sustainable Hemp Association and Elevate Northeast. She was the recipient of the 2020 NECANN Community Award for “Massachusetts Cannabis Activist of the Year”.
