Hearing the word Suspicious is scary, hearing the word biopsy is scary, hearing the words "you need diagnostic imaging" is scary! lets be real! Breast Cancer is scary and because of all the wonderful awareness we are all aware of the high incidence rates. So hearing these word can send fear into even the strongest person! So, let's talk about it! Nikki shares her journey with needing a lumpectomy, hearing it isn't cancer, and what the aftermath looks like. She is open and vulnerable and willing to share her experiences wit a female making her fell "less than" based on her decisions! 

She is an inspiration and she reminds us all how to be better for each other!

In this Episode I interview local Artist Melissa Korel with Pensacola Permanent Makeup. She is doing AMAZING things for Survivors! She is celebrating her 7th year in her industry.! She is such a joy to be around and I KNOW she has changed the lives of so many survivors! When I met her I just knew you needed to meet her too!   Her art is so realistic and beautiful! She is doing 3-D Areola nipple tattoos that are so realistic and look like the nipple is raised! its simply beautiful! Also, If you have experienced hair loss in your eye brows as a result of Chemotherapy she can fill them in a they look so real! And Natural! She is partnered with the Sauler Institute and together after application you may qualify to get her services for free! And if you aren't local to Pensacola they will pair you with an artist near you. How amazing! Melissa is so sweet and just a joy to be around! My beautiful warrior friend Mary Ann shares of her battle with Genetic BRCA2 Positive. How Covid kept her from getting necessary scans. How she is now living disabled and how you can go that route if needed. But mostly HOW she is fighting to live and thrive with Joy and appreciation of life and everything it throws at you. She is a loving mother of 2 miracle boys after going through fertility issues she had given up because of her genetic factor for breast cancer only to be given the miracle of life twice! The heartbeat behind this page is YOU! I believe that there is POWER in your story! Our stories and sharing it allows us to feel heard in a voiceless system and helps us to heal! But even more than that It will help others who are diagnosed with breast cancer search their diagnosis and instead of countless medical pages coming up, Survivor stories will pull up too! Hearing another warrior's story and how they fought will help them have hope, encouragement to be their own advocate, know they are not alone, and equip them before they enter the battle field that is breast cancer! 
I will be interviewing and filming Warriors and posting the videos here and on other platforms.  I will also be sharing health tips and advice. I will be interviewing others in the medical fields and asking advice from their perspectives.

Marcella Powell is Survivor of Her2 positive Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and she shares her story!! She is a native of Pensacola, Florida. She has founded Motivate The Youth, Inc., WinniesBox, and Author of Beyond The Smile, published in 2020. She is Co-Authoring two book to be released in the 2025 year! Hosting several Breast Cancer fundraisers like I Cancervive the year in Atlanta Ga. Etc. She is unstoppable and Cancer can't keep her down!! 

Having overcome childhood trauma, Marcella is a renowned community activist who dedicated her early adult years to serving her community and mentoring. She is a Breast Cancer Survivor who intends to share her healing message worldwide. This is MY story. I have shared many warrior stories on here and Youtube, and I filmed myself one day. It was kinda like therapy. I said some thing that surprised me! The fight was real and it was hard! After facing so many obstacles from diagnosis to treatment it left me wondering how our medical system could be this broken. So I started asking God how I could help....and Power Over Pink was born. It has been so healing for me to meet so many incredible warriors of Breast Cancer! Each has a unique story to tell that inspires Hope and healing in themselves and others! It's different when It's My story. I hope you enjoy it and it inspires you to keep fighting and as always, be your own advocate! Speak UP!

At just 36 years old Heather found out she had Breast Cancer. She just finished nursing her daughter and found a lump. She listened to her intuition and had it checked out only to find out it was Breast Cancer. With no genetic family history it never crossed her mind that she could have to face this battle. Heather is a Nurse Practitioner and she knows this medical field well.  Heather decided to seek treatment at M.D. Anderson and radiation locally. Now because of her facing this battle she looks at life with a wonderful perspective that life is worth celebrating! You will be so inspired to hear her story!
