It's Willed Wednesday! Willed Wednesday: Overcoming Self Limiting Thoughts

You are ordained or decreed to do what you do.  Don't let your self limiting thoughts overpower the GREAT one inside you.  Stop being afraid of taking risks and go for it.  There is a cause and effect to everything but the Law of Magnetism is real.  You can attract what you want.  In this episode we briefly share how Ray Kroc transformed someone else's vision into a Billion dollar industry because he removed the Law of the Lid from his life.  Train the leader within you.  It doesn't matter if you have a title of leadership or not.  You are a leader.  Leaders are made, you better believe that!  If you are actually a leader in title, then LEAD!  Our self limiting behaviors can present with fear, anxiety, procrastination etc.. but you must be better than that.  Choose today to make tiny steps in the direction of your GREATNESS because there is someone waiting on you to show up so they can be transformed too. You got this!

Finish Strong (Ep 69)

Happy Administrative Appreciation Month to all all of the school leaders - we value your service!  In this episode administrators and teachers alike get insights from elementary principal and Extreme Execution Transervational Coach Dr. Jason McGhee.  He shares valuable strategies about how to finish strong as we conclude the last quarter of 2020.  His school is a Candidate School for the Primary Years Programme and is pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

He tells administrators to try these three things to help them not just overcome but thrive!
1. Get off the island alone and get a thought partner, a therapist, or a coach to help in these times.
2. Latch on to self-care.
3. Be vulnerable.

To the teachers he encourages them to:
1. Take care of the needs of yourself and others.
2. Go back to your 'WHY!" Pull out that educational philosophy and place it in front of you.
3. Be resourceful - lead yourself.
4. Collaborate and be open.

Lastly, he offers us four pondering questions to show us the "W.A.Y. "
Who are you? Why are you here? Where are you going? What are you doing?

Willed Wednesday: Hey Educator, We Need You!
Burn out is really real but so is your WHY.  In fact, your why is GREATER.  Sometimes we just lose sight and we have to refocus.  That is one of the reasons we say Willed Wednesday instead of hump day.  We are not just trying to get over the hump, we are IMPACTING! Don't ever loose sight of that. And the best thing of all, remember how valuable you are to the field.  We need you, not want you, BUT NEED YOU! You are amazing and a valuable commodity to the lives of others.  So bring those dreams and goals back into focus.  You got this!  You are ordained for this very reason!

Willed Wednesday: Clarity in Muddy Water
Have you ever heard the song lyric, "I can see clearly now the rain is gone."  One would agree that it is difficult to see clearly in muddy water, RIGHT?  I definitely agree EXCEPT I only agree in certain instances.  In the midst of this madness that our world is experiencing, you are able to see clearly using something in your toolbox - YOU.  You are your best tool! Self-awareness and action on that awareness will take you places.  Listen in. Enjoy.
