After a series of personal losses, Anahata surrendered to the flow of the Universe and straight into the arms of God and the path He has set for her. Born into a family of carnival owners in Texas, USA, Maxwell Ivey lost his sight at age 12. Having a natural gusto for life, Max graduated college and became heavily involved in the Eagle Scouts. He also worked in the family business alongside brothers until his father succumbed to lung cancer. Faced with his own mortality, Max made some life-altering changes. He underwent gastric surgery and lost over 250 pounds. He started his own business, buying and selling amusement rides, and learned how to blog using software for visually-impaired people. Overcoming many obstacles, Max made a name for himself online and now shares his experiences on The Blind Blogger.  He is the author of a book titled "Leading You Out of the Darkness Into The Light."

Max’s favourite things entail teaching and helping others achieve their goals and so he began another business: personal coaching.

With the companionship of his crazy Dalmation-mix, Penny, Max now spends his days singing, reading, blogging, writing, creating videos, and coaching. He’d like to travel the world one day and meet in person his many online friends and clients . . . and a special lady to share his life with, but Penny might have something to say about that!

Abby Stephens graced us with her musical talent for our Christmas Special last year (2015) and we have brought her back for an exclusive interview to share her remarkable story of faith and miracles.

Abby Stephens was raised in Cokeville, Wyoming, where she attended high school and was always a physically active young woman, and loved to sing and dance. She then attended BYU, where she planned to receive her BFA degree in Musical Dance Theater, but at the age of 23, her plans changed dramatically.  One week before her wedding, she was in a car accident that left her paralyzed from the neck down.  Doctors said she would never walk again, but with unwavering faith, determination, and a positive attitude, she was able to walk just 3 months later!  This was not the first, nor last, difficult challenge in Abby’s life. 

She has been sharing her story for 19 years as an inspirational speaker, singer, and humorist, inspiring others to get up and dance again and find a way to laugh through life’s toughest moments!

She is currently writing a book about her life, and her first Christmas album was released last fall, which is literally a life-long DREAM come true!
