Little Lambs Foundation for Kids is a non profit 501(c)3 Organization who provides Comfort Kits to Children ages 0-17 who are transitioning into Foster Care, shelter or who have been hospitalized by providing them with a little comfort in a bag.. Just in Northern Utah alone there are 696 Children who are in Foster Care. There are also 83 children that are in the inhome program through DCFS just in Cache Valley. Most children are not able to take anything with them & if they are able they carry their precious belongings in a black trash bag. Can you imagine? Little Lambs Foundation provides a bag of items that these children can take with them and can call their own.

Little Lambs Foundation for Kids was founded in 2014 when the Chalfant family saw a need in our local community to help children when they are in distressed situations. Ted Chalfant grew up just outside of Cleveland, Ohio with a large family, some of which were Foster children. He saw the condition of the children when they arrived. Most children came to them with nothing but the clothes on their backs, some without shoes and all of them heartbroken from being taken away from everyone and everything they had ever known.

In this episode, we will be spotlighting the non-profit organization "Little Lambs Foundation."  Ted Chalfant will be sharing how they've been able to touch the lives of these children and share a little about foster care and shelters.
