Powerplay Point Podcast

It's an all new month and we evaluate how Our Caps are doing after two full months of play. It was a great help that they went 4-0 in this most recent week of play; the games of which Anna and I go over in detail.

SPOILER ALERT---As at least one of the games featured a disallowed goal, there WILL be a rant about goaltender interference. Humanity will figure out what is love before it figures out what is goaltender interference in the NHL.

Anna is back....just in time to help us get through some adversity. It was a 2-2 week for Our Capitals which saw them get through their annual Caps Fight Cancer game....as well as an injury to Captain Alex Ovechkin,

We discuss the impact of the injury as well as the troubles the Caps have been having since. It is probably not as bad as it seems. That's our story and we are sticking to it.

The Powerplay Point Podcast is actively looking for guests to come on the show with us to give their own unfiltered take on the Caps---fans of the team only please. If interested please contact me at [email protected] or on Our Facebook Page.

Anna is off this week so our wonderful reliable C4 is here to help us through a short week for Our Caps (2 games). One win and one extremely frustrating OT loss. We cover it all, the good and the bad. Fortunately there's more good than bad such has been the case for the Caps this year!

After the recaps, C4 indulges us by giving her story about why the upcoming Caps Fight Cancer game means so much to her. Please visit this page for more information as well as to get your own HFC dedication sign.

In our last segment we each throw in our own stories from the past in our ongoing honors to the Caps 50th Anniversary season.

Week 5 in the NHL sees a split of four games for Our Caps, Despite the losses there were some positive takeaways. Many of these we will go over in our feature game against the Nashville Predators.

We close with a strong message from SSGT Christian Levesque, USA who relays a message about his time in the Service of our country.

Anna and I are back to cover yet another perfet week of Caps hockey. Our favorite team went 3-0-0 and are near the top of the Metropolitan Dvision at the time of the recording of this episode. The sweetest win of the week was by far the one against the Rangers. To celebrate we have extra coverage and commentary. Disclaimer our "player interview" was for entertainment purposes only (NOT A REAL INTERVIEW).

Despite the domination of the games, there is cause for concern. We discuss them in full as part of the final game coverage against the Blue Jackets.

Have your say.....what do YOU think of the Caps so far? If you want to book yourself on this podcast please don't hesitate to contact us! Listen towards the end for our contact information or seek us out (Search POWERPLAY POINT PODCAST) on Facebook for our group room page. We want YOUR input...make your voice heard!
