Your landing page may explain what you do, list your services, show a contact form, and tell visitors to get in touch.
But does it clearly answer the most important question:
Why should a customer choose you instead of a competitor — or simply doing nothing?
In this episode of PPC with YRV Dynamics, Yousaf Yunes breaks down why so many landing pages generate traffic and even form submissions while still failing to give prospects enough confidence to become actual customers.
A strong landing page shouldn't just describe the business. It should help visitors understand the process, reduce uncertainty, provide evidence, address objections, and explain what happens after someone reaches out.
One of the biggest competitors businesses face isn't another company. It's the customer deciding to wait.
If someone is worried about price, timing, complexity, or making the wrong decision, your landing page needs to remove as much of that uncertainty as possible.
For an auto repair shop, that could mean showing exactly what happens during a diagnostic appointment.
For a window replacement company, it could mean explaining the process from measurements through installation.
For a PPC agency, it could mean showing real campaign results, case studies, screenshots, scaling experience, and examples of how advertising produced profitable growth.
Simply saying you've been in business for 20 or 30 years isn't enough.
The customer needs to understand why that experience matters to them.
Different visitors also need different reasons to choose you. An emergency plumbing customer cares about availability and response time. Someone planning a bathroom renovation may care more about past projects, estimates, timelines, and workmanship.
The same principle applies across industries.
Your proof should appear close to the promise it supports.
If you claim excellent workmanship, show completed projects and reviews discussing workmanship.
If you promise careful moving services, show your packing and protection process alongside customer testimonials.
If you claim you can scale Google Ads campaigns, show the results.
The conversion form itself also needs context.
Don't simply say Submit or Contact Us.
Tell customers what happens next.
Will someone call them? Will they receive an estimate? Is a site visit required? Does submitting the form confirm an appointment?
Removing that uncertainty can make taking the next step feel much easier.
Landing pages should also help unsuitable prospects recognize when the business isn't the right fit. Clearly explaining service areas, minimum project requirements, specialties, pricing expectations, or customer requirements can reduce low-quality leads while increasing the percentage of qualified opportunities.
More leads doesn't automatically mean better performance.
A page generating 50 inquiries with only five qualified prospects may be worse than a page generating 30 inquiries with 12 qualified prospects.
The same applies to bookings.
Twenty highly qualified tour requests that generate four bookings may be far more valuable than 40 requests that produce only two.
That means PPC and landing page optimization shouldn't stop at CPL or form submissions.
Track qualified leads, MQLs, SQLs, customers, bookings, sales, acquisition costs, and ultimately revenue.
And one of the simplest tests you can perform on your own landing page is this:
Pull up the page and cover your logo.
If the page could easily belong to five other competitors in your industry, ask yourself:
What on this page would actually make someone choose us?
That answer should be obvious to the visitor.
Why your competition includes customers who decide to do nothing
How landing pages can reduce customer hesitation
Turning company experience into customer benefits
Showing proof instead of making generic claims
Matching landing page messaging to different customer needs
Using case studies, reviews, screenshots, and project examples
Explaining exactly what happens after a form submission
Qualifying customers directly through landing page messaging
Why a stronger landing page sometimes requires a stronger business offer
Measuring qualified leads instead of simply counting conversions
MQLs vs. SQLs vs. customers
Improving conversion quality through landing page testing
Why more leads aren't always better leads
The "cover your logo" landing page test

QA might not be the most exciting part of paid media, but it can be one of the most important.
In this episode of PPC with YRV Dynamics, Yousaf Yunes breaks down the QA process he uses for Google Ads and Meta Ads—and why simply building a campaign and turning it on isn't enough.
The process starts with one basic rule:
Never QA from memory. QA against what was actually approved.
Once the campaign is built, the buyer performs a self-QA against the campaign strategy, architecture, creative documents, budget, targeting, URLs, tracking, and launch requirements.
But the process shouldn't stop there.
For anything beyond a very simple campaign, Yousaf believes another person should independently QA the build. That reviewer isn't asking, “Does this look right?”
They're asking:
“Does what is inside the ad platform match what the client and team approved?”
That creates a clear workflow:
Approved Plan → Campaign Build → Builder Self-QA → Second-Person QA → Corrections → Verification → Launch → Post-Launch QA
And every step should have receipts.
Who built it?
Who reviewed it?
What problems were found?
Who corrected them?
Who verified the corrections?
Once the campaign launches, QA continues.
The team should check the campaign the same day, within the first 24 hours, and—depending on the complexity of the buy—again during the first 48–72 hours.
At that point, the question changes from:
“Did we build this correctly?”
to:
“Is Google or Meta actually behaving the way we expected?”
Are campaigns spending?
Are the right ads live?
Is tracking firing?
Are conversions coming through?
Are there disapprovals?
Is delivery behaving normally?
The biggest takeaway:
QA is a process, not a checkbox.
Build the process into your agency workflow, document the reviews, require accountability, and don't rush campaigns live simply because everyone wants them launched.
No QA approval = no launch.

What happens when customers stop typing individual searches and start having entire buying conversations with AI? In this episode of PPC with YRV Dynamics, Yousaf Yunes explores the competition between ChatGPT and Google AI Mode—and what that shift could mean for advertisers, agencies, and the future of paid media.
A conversation about budget, product requirements, and personal preferences can reveal much more than a single keyword. Yousaf examines whether that deeper context could deliver better-qualified traffic, how sponsored placements could fit into the research process, and why ChatGPT doesn’t need to replace Google to capture valuable buying decisions.
But Google has its own advantages. With Google Ads, Smart Bidding, Merchant Center, product feeds, and years of conversion data, its advertising ecosystem gives it a powerful foundation. Yousaf argues that AI Mode could help Google retain customers as their search habits evolve—and that the real competition is about turning conversations into measurable business results.
In this episode:
As AI simplifies campaign execution, agencies need to demonstrate how their decisions help businesses acquire customers profitably. Yousaf explains why understanding the offer, the customer, and the economics behind each sale will remain essential.
The next advertising battle may come down to one question: Who owns the conversation before the customer buys?

Are you improving your Google Ads campaigns—or changing them so often that you can’t tell what’s working?
In this episode of PPC with YRV Dynamics, Yousaf Yunes breaks down the dangers of making daily campaign adjustments and how tools like ChatGPT and Claude can accelerate the problem. AI can generate recommendations faster than your campaigns can produce the evidence needed to evaluate them. When API connections make those changes easier to execute, the consequences can multiply.
From adjusting bids and rewriting ads to tightening targeting and shifting budgets, changing too much at once makes it harder to identify what actually drives results. And without customer quality and sales data, chasing cheaper leads can move your account away from the customers who generate real revenue.
In this episode, we discuss:
• Why hundreds or thousands of AI changes aren’t proof of better campaign management.
AI can support analysis, identify trends, and surface opportunities. But effective campaign management still requires business context, thoughtful experiments, and someone accountable for the decisions.
Your value isn’t how many changes you make. It’s knowing which changes are worth making—and giving them enough time to prove themselves.

A lower cost per click looks great on a dashboard—but what happens after someone clicks?
In this episode of PPC with YRV Dynamics, Yousaf Yunes revisits cost per click, the role of manual CPC in select legacy and local campaigns, and why paying less for traffic doesn’t automatically mean better business results.
Using a hypothetical comparison between two campaigns with identical $1,000 budgets, Yousaf explains how $10 clicks can deliver twice as many customers as $2 clicks—even with fewer leads and a higher cost per lead. The difference comes down to lead quality, close rates, and what it actually costs to acquire a paying customer.
In this episode:
Before celebrating cheaper clicks, ask: What happened to customer acquisition cost—and profit?

AI is changing PPC—and the value of the expert behind the campaigns. Are you evolving from button pusher to media buyer, strategist, and ultimately, revenue architect?
In this episode of PPC with YRV Dynamics, Yousaf Yunes shares his perspective on why PPC professionals need to move beyond campaign execution and connect advertising decisions to business growth. As automation handles more routine tasks, your value increasingly comes from understanding lead quality, customer acquisition costs, profitability, and lifetime value.
Yousaf also explores how AI can steer campaigns in the wrong direction: optimizing for junk leads, misreading search intent, overvaluing branded traffic, and recommending changes without understanding account history. The danger? A bad decision can spread across campaigns and put real advertising dollars behind the wrong objective.
In this episode:
The future is human expertise plus AI. Someone still needs to ask: Are these conversions becoming customers? Are we growing profitably? And when should we change direction?
AI can help execute the work. Your value is knowing what the business needs that work to accomplish.

Is your agency positioned to grow—or leaving the door open for someone else to take your business?
In this episode of PPC with YRV Dynamics, Yousaf Yunes makes the case for treating agency growth in 2027 like a battle for territory. That territory includes the platforms you manage, the relationships you build, and the opportunities you earn before competitors get there.
Yousaf breaks down three pillars of a more proactive growth strategy:
The episode also explores choosing clients with room to grow, protecting existing relationships, and moving beyond reliance on crowded online acquisition channels.
-------------------------------------------------
If you run a PPC agency or service business, this is a direct challenge to get proactive: deepen your client relationships, make partnerships count, and start showing up where business happens.

Why would a PMax campaign’s “Other search terms” bucket deliver some of its most efficient conversions?
In this episode of PPC with YRV Dynamics, Yousaf Yunes shares a surprising discovery from a franchise account with approximately 50 locations. Before replacing a successful Performance Max campaign with a traditional Search campaign, he investigated where its results were coming from.
Approximately 85% of the campaign’s spend was going toward Search. Its overall cost per conversion was roughly $40–$45, compared with a typical benchmark of around $80. But the biggest surprise was inside “Other search terms”: more than 60% of the reported conversions were coming from that bucket, at approximately $20 per conversion.
Yousaf explores whether tightly controlled exact and phrase match campaigns can miss valuable ways customers express their needs—and why PMax’s broader targeting may have helped this account capture additional opportunities.
In this episode:
• Why a Search-heavy PMax campaign deserved a closer look before being replaced.
These findings are an account-specific observation and a starting point for further testing. The undisclosed queries don’t establish exactly which searches drove the advantage—or prove that PMax will outperform Search in every account.
The takeaway: Before restricting or replacing a campaign, investigate what is producing results. Your keyword list may not capture every way a potential customer asks for what you sell.

Two customers click your Google ad and each spends $100. One never returns. The other buys five more times. Their first orders look identical—but their value to your business is completely different.
In this episode of PPC with YRV Dynamics, Yousaf Yunes breaks down customer lifetime value (LTV) and explains why the first purchase only tells part of the story. Learn how average order value, purchase frequency, and customer lifespan help you estimate the revenue a customer relationship can generate—and how actual purchase history helps you measure what happened.
We explore four customer groups: one-time buyers, repeat buyers, high-spend buyers, and high-spend repeat buyers. Through everyday examples involving tech accessories and coffee machines, Yousaf explains how relevant follow-up purchases can turn a single transaction into an ongoing relationship.
You’ll learn:
The key question: Where are your best customers actually coming from?
Your first sale tells you somebody bought. LTV tells you what that customer relationship became.

Are you paying for another software subscription when AI could help you get the work done with tools you already use?
In this episode of PPC with YRV Dynamics, Yousaf Yunes shares his perspective on how agentic AI could challenge subscription software—and what that means for small businesses, founders, and PPC agencies.
Drawing from his own experience connecting ChatGPT and Slack for project reminders, Yousaf explores why businesses should evaluate their existing AI tools before buying another standalone product. He also discusses where automation helps with simple advertising tasks and why complex campaigns still demand experienced strategy, oversight, and coordination.
In this episode, we cover:
• Why agentic AI could put pressure on SaaS products built around easily replicated features.
The takeaway: Start with the work you need completed. Explore what your existing tools can handle, evaluate the results, and invest in expert help where complexity makes it valuable.
Listen to PPC with YRV Dynamics for practical conversations about paid advertising, business growth, and AI.
