Being overwhelmed can become a habit and once it becomes a habit, it takes effort to reprogram your brain. Transformation starts with the smallest change that you consistently do day in and day out. Look at what benefit you are receiving for being in overwhelm. The Birth Challenge occurs in the future after a nuclear war destroys most of the earth, leaving few survivors behind, some of whom developed supernatural abilities. Three hundred years later, Sabina is about to face her rite of passage, the Birth Challenge, into adulthood to discover if she has any supernatural abilities, when she learns her father, Brom, has been lying to her all her life. What is he hiding? Why has he been lying to her? And will the Birth Challenge reveal Sabina has any supernatural powers?

As the world searches for the prophesied Agni, the one who is said to possess all supernatural abilities, Brom abandons Sabina on one of the most important days of her life, but not before telling her he expects her to meet a list of potential suitors.
