It is an Epic Fantasy with a Chosen One and Slow Burn Trope. The story contains Magic & Superpowers. Female Main Character. It releases on May 2nd!

Chapter 1 of The Birth Challenge is available for free at https://BookHip.com/LFGTMZP The Birth Challenge occurs in the future after a nuclear war destroys most of the earth, leaving few survivors behind, some of whom developed supernatural abilities. Three hundred years later, Sabina is about to face her rite of passage, the Birth Challenge, into adulthood to discover if she has any supernatural abilities when she learns her father, Brom, has been lying to her all her life. What is he hiding? Why has he been lying to her? And will the Birth Challenge reveal Sabina has any supernatural powers?

As the world searches for the prophesied Agni, the one who is said to possess all supernatural abilities, Brom deserts Sabina on one of the most important days of her life, but not before telling her he expects her to meet a list of potential suitors.

Sit back and relax as you listen to an upper YA epic fantasy written by your host, Ashley Pitzer.  This book is called The Birth Challenge.

In the magically protected walls of Silvedome, people with supernatural abilities called Moowins felt safe from the vicious bandits searching for the Agni – the one prophesied to possess all eight Moowins of rare status. But Brom Rockdin knew more than most, and he had not forgotten the dangers lurking outside the dome walls.

Brom would do anything to keep his daughter, Sabina, safe. This included prearranging suitors for her to meet and asking her to choose one as a partner. Sabina received this breaking news three days before her rite of passage, where she would transition into adulthood and discover if she had any Moowins. Possessing a Moowin was her last hope of changing her fate of feeling invisible and proving her worth.

Except Sabina didn’t know her father’s plans or what he had been hiding from her...  Sabina quickly learns what she yearns for most can have devastating consequences.

When your light shines, anyone can find you.

Marriage was something I thought of as a fairytale.  And why wouldn't I? Media and countless stories painted that picture. My marriage wasn't a fairytale. It started out great and but then it turned into something else. Challenges, expectations, and fears were all raining down on me. Despite loving my husband, I wasn't happy with how I was being treated, but I stayed. I stayed because of the challenges, expectations, and fears. I stayed because it was what was known, and the brain loves predictability.
