Jesus gave us the Our Father as a simple, tender way to speak to God—like a loving parent who sees you as absolutely perfect, just as you are.

And if that’s true—if God really sees us with that kind of unconditional love—how would it change the way we treat others?

The ones who annoy us. Our enemies. The outsider, the competitor, the person who doesn’t fit into our circle. The person on the opposite end of the political spectrum. The ones who challenge us, frustrate us, or are just hard to be around. The people we judge. The vulnerable. The immigrant. The poor. What if we saw them as beloved, too?
