LISTEN | Morning Prayer - APRIL 2, 2022 | Saturday in the Fourth Week of Lent
As we come closer to the sacred days of the Church, we draw our strength and hope in the Cross of Christ, who conquered sin and death to bring us back to Him.
In the Archdiocese of Cebu, we also remember St. Pedro Calungsod on his feast today, who stood firm in proclaiming the faith even to his death 350 years ago. May we, like him, be zealous in embracing our crosses each day so we may rise victorious with Jesus, our Lord.

LISTEN | Morning Prayer - March 29, 2022 | Tuesday in the Fourth Week of Lent
With your whole hearts turn to God and he will blot out all your sins (Acts 3:19)
The mercy of God is not an invitation to sin. He may forgive us and take away the punishment due to sin. But let us not take it as an encouragement to sin more freely. The warning which Christ has just given to the man cured of his long infirmity is also meant for us: “See, you are well again; now sin no more, for something worse may happen to you.” Christ demands a permanent and sincere conversion after we have received his forgiveness. LISTEN | Morning Prayer - March 26, 2022 | Saturday of the Third Week of Lent
Saturdays are especially dedicated to our Blessed Mother. We just celebrated yesterday Mary's role in the plan of salvation. In this third week of Lent, let us ask her maternal inspiration and encouragement as we face our troubled times. She who has placed all her trust in the Lord despite not understanding fully well what her fiat would mean. May we look up to her faith and strive to imitate her in our journey towards Christ Himself.

LISTEN | Morning Prayer - March 25, 2022 | Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord
The feast of the Annunciation, now recognized as a solemnity, was first celebrated in the fourth or fifth century. Its central focus is the Incarnation: God has become one of us. From all eternity God had decided that the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity should become human.
Mary has an important role to play in God’s plan. From all eternity, God destined her to be the mother of Jesus and closely related to him in the creation and redemption of the world. We could say that God’s decrees of creation and redemption are joined in the decree of Incarnation. Because Mary is God’s instrument in the Incarnation, she has a role to play with Jesus in creation and redemption. It is a God-given role. It is God’s grace from beginning to end. Mary becomes the eminent figure she is only by God’s grace. She is the empty space where God could act. Everything she is she owes to the Trinity. (Franciscan Media)
Let us especially ask Mary to intercede for us to God especially for war to end and peace to spread throughout the world. In her womb, Jesus, the Prince of Peace, took flesh. May she lead us now on the paths of peace.
