  • Here comes the Son

Ever felt like you’ve wandered too far from God? In this Gospel preaching on the Prodigal Son, hear a powerful reminder that no matter how far we’ve gone, God’s love is always ready to welcome us home. Listen now for a message of grace, redemption, and hope!

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

Luke 15:1-2 15 And all the tax-gatherers and the sinners were coming near to him to hear him;2 and the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This [man] receives sinners and eats with them.

Luke 15:11-24 “11 And he said, A certain man had two sons;12 and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give to me the share of the property that falls [to me]. And he divided to them what he was possessed of.13 And after not many days the younger son gathering all together went away into a country a long way off, and there dissipated his property, living in debauchery.

14 But when he had spent all there arose a violent famine throughout that country, and he began to be in want.

15 And he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.16 And he longed to fill his belly with the husks which the swine were eating; and no one gave to him.17 And coming to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have abundance of bread, and *I* perish here by famine.

18 I will rise up and go to my father, and I will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee;19 I am no longer worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 And he rose up and went to his own father. But while he was yet a long way off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell upon his neck, and covered him with kisses.21 And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee; I am no longer worthy to be called thy son.

22 But the father said to his bondmen, Bring out the best robe and clothe him in [it], and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet;23 and bring the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and make merry:24 for this my son was dead and has come to life, was lost and has been found.”

Romans 1:16-17 “16 For I am not ashamed of the glad tidings; for it is God’s power to salvation, to every one that believes, both to Jew first and to Greek:

17 for righteousness of God is revealed therein, on the principle of faith, to faith: according as it is written, But the just shall live by faith.”

2 Thessalonians 1:8-12 “8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who know not God, and those who do not obey the glad tidings of our Lord Jesus Christ;9 who shall pay the penalty [of] everlasting destruction from [the] presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his might,10 when he shall have come to be glorified in his saints, and wondered at in all that have believed, (for our testimony to you has been believed,) in that day.

11 To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and fulfil all [the] good pleasure of [his] goodness and [the] work of faith with power,12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus [Christ] may be glorified in you and *ye* in him, according to the grace of our God, and of [the] Lord Jesus Christ.”

  • Being Brought up in a Christian Home

In this interview recorded at Refresh 2025, Tim Pons sits down with Oli Fielder to talk about the unique challenges of growing up in a Christian home. Oli shares his journey of realising that being raised in a Christian family doesn’t automatically make you a Christian—you have to come to Jesus for yourself, not simply rely on your parents’ faith.

Through honest reflection, Oli discusses the struggles, doubts, and personal decisions that shaped his own walk with Christ. He shares how he came to see Jesus as his Saviour and Lord, making a personal commitment to follow Him.

In closing, Oli reflects on his hopes for the next generation, sharing his desire for his own children to be firmly established in the Gospel and to know Jesus personally for themselves.

  • Is you Soul Satisfied?

Is your soul truly satisfied, or are you still searching? This Gospel preaching speaks to the emptiness that success, pleasure, and religion can’t fill. Only Jesus Christ offers the lasting satisfaction your soul longs for. Discover the deep rest and joy that come from knowing Him.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

Acts 8:27-40 “27 And he rose up and went. And lo, an Ethiopian, a eunuch, a man in power under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to worship at Jerusalem,28 was returning and sitting in his chariot: and he was reading the prophet Esaias.29 And the Spirit said to Philip, Approach and join this chariot.30 And Philip, running up, heard him reading the prophet Esaias, and said, Dost thou then know what thou art reading of?31 And he said, How should I then be able unless some one guide me? And he begged Philip to come up and sit with him.

32 And the passage of the scripture which he read was this: He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and as a lamb is dumb in presence of him that shears him, thus he opens not his mouth.33 In his humiliation his judgment has been taken away, and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

34 And the eunuch answering Philip said, I pray thee, concerning whom does the prophet say this? of himself or of some other?

35 And Philip, opening his mouth and beginning from that scripture, announced the glad tidings of Jesus to him.36 And as they went along the way, they came upon a certain water, and the eunuch says, Behold water; what hinders my being baptised?38 And he commanded the chariot to stop. And they went down both to the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he baptised him.

39 But when they came up out of the water [the] Spirit of [the] Lord caught away Philip, and the eunuch saw him no longer, for he went on his way rejoicing.40 And Philip was found at Azotus, and passing through he announced the glad tidings to all the cities till he came to Caesarea.”

  • “Do the work of an Evangelist”

Paul charged Timothy to do the work of an evangelist. This call to action reminds us all of our responsibility to share the message of hope and salvation with those around us. As believers, we are called to spread the good news through our actions, words, and service. Let us embrace this calling with passion and dedication, making a positive impact in the lives of others.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

2 Timothy 4:5 “do [the] work of an evangelist”

John 4:1-7 “4 When therefore the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus makes and baptises more disciples than John2 (however, Jesus himself did not baptise, but his disciples),3 he left Judaea and went away again unto Galilee.

4 And he must needs pass through Samaria.5 He comes therefore to a city of Samaria called Sychar, near to the land which Jacob gave to his son Joseph.6 Now a fountain of Jacob’s was there; Jesus therefore, being wearied with the way he had come, sat just as he was at the fountain. It was about the sixth hour.7 A woman comes out of Samaria to draw water. Jesus says to her, Give me to drink”

Acts 8:26-35 “26 But [the] angel of [the] Lord spoke to Philip, saying, Rise up and go southward on the way which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza: the same is desert.

27 And he rose up and went. And lo, an Ethiopian, a eunuch, a man in power under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to worship at Jerusalem,28 was returning and sitting in his chariot: and he was reading the prophet Esaias.29 And the Spirit said to Philip, Approach and join this chariot.30 And Philip, running up, heard him reading the prophet Esaias, and said, Dost thou then know what thou art reading of?

31 And he said, How should I then be able unless some one guide me? And he begged Philip to come up and sit with him.

32 And the passage of the scripture which he read was this: He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and as a lamb is dumb in presence of him that shears him, thus he opens not his mouth.33 In his humiliation his judgment has been taken away, and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

34 And the eunuch answering Philip said, I pray thee, concerning whom does the prophet say this? of himself or of some other?35 And Philip, opening his mouth and beginning from that scripture, announced the glad tidings of Jesus to him.”

2 Kings 5:1-3 “5 And Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man before his master, and honourable, for by him Jehovah had given deliverance to Syria; and he was a mighty man of valour, [but] a leper.2 And the Syrians had gone out in bands, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman’s wife.

3 And she said to her mistress, Oh, would that my lord were before the prophet that is in Samaria! then he would cure him of his leprosy.”
