  • Lost and Found

Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10), and in Luke 15, He shares three parables—the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son—to reveal God’s relentless love. No matter how far we stray, He eagerly seeks us, rejoices when we return, and restores us with grace. This message reminds us that no one is beyond God’s reach, and heaven celebrates every sinner who repents. Will you answer His call today?

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

Luke 19:10 “10 for the Son of man has come to seek and to save that which is lost.”

Luke 15:1-32 “15 And all the tax-gatherers and the sinners were coming near to him to hear him;2 and the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This [man] receives sinners and eats with them.3 And he spoke to them this parable, saying,

4 What man of you having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5 and having found it, he lays it upon his own shoulders, rejoicing;6 and being come to the house, calls together the friends and the neighbours, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep.7 I say unto you, that thus there shall be joy in heaven for one repenting sinner, [more] than for ninety and nine righteous who have no need of repentance.8 Or, what woman having ten drachmas, if she lose one drachma, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek carefully till she find it?9 and having found it she calls together the friends and neighbours, saying, Rejoice with me, for I have found the drachma which I had lost.

10 Thus, I say unto you, there is joy before the angels of God for one repenting sinner.11 And he said, A certain man had two sons;12 and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give to me the share of the property that falls [to me]. And he divided to them what he was possessed of.

13 And after not many days the younger son gathering all together went away into a country a long way off, and there dissipated his property, living in debauchery.14 But when he had spent all there arose a violent famine throughout that country, and he began to be in want.15 And he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.16 And he longed to fill his belly with the husks which the swine were eating; and no one gave to him.

17 And coming to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have abundance of bread, and *I* perish here by famine.18 I will rise up and go to my father, and I will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee;19 I am no longer worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 And he rose up and went to his own father. But while he was yet a long way off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell upon his neck, and covered him with kisses.21 And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee; I am no longer worthy to be called thy son.22 But the father said to his bondmen, Bring out the best robe and clothe him in [it], and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet;23 and bring the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and make merry:24 for this my son was dead and has come to life, was lost and has been found. And they began to make merry.

25 And his elder son was in the field; and as, coming [up], he drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.26 And having called one of the servants, he inquired what these things might be.27 And he said to him, Thy brother is come, and thy father has killed the fatted calf because he has received him safe and well.

28 But he became angry and would not go in. And his father went out and besought him.

29 But he answering said to his father, Behold, so many years I serve thee, and never have I transgressed a commandment of thine; and to me hast thou never given a kid that I might make merry with my friends:30 but when this thy son, who has devoured thy substance with harlots, is come, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

31 But he said to him, Child, *thou* art ever with me, and all that is mine is thine.32 But it was right to make merry and rejoice, because this thy brother was dead and has come to life again, and was lost and has been found.”

  • “More than Solomon is here”

In this Gospel preaching, you will hear about a Queen and a King. The Queen of Sheba travelled to Jerusalem to visit one of the greatest kings the world has ever seen—Solomon, a king full of wisdom and great wealth. Yet, when Jesus came into the world, He proclaimed, “More than Solomon is here.” The King of Kings came down from glory to save sinners from the coming judgment. Through the work Jesus completed on Calvary’s cross, we can receive peace with God and forgiveness of sins.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

1 Kings 10:1-9 “And the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon in connection with the name of Jehovah, and came to prove him with enigmas.2 And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bore spices and gold in very great abundance, and precious stones; and she came to Solomon, and spoke to him of all that was in her heart.

3 And Solomon explained to her all she spoke of: there was not a thing hidden from the king that he did not explain to her.4 And when the queen of Sheba saw all Solomon’s wisdom, and the house that he had built,

5 and the food of his table, and the deportment of his servants, and the order of service of his attendants, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of Jehovah, there was no more spirit in her. 6 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thine affairs, and of thy wisdom;7 but I gave no credit to the words, until I came and mine eyes had seen; and behold, the half was not told me: in wisdom and prosperity thou exceedest the report that I heard.8 Happy are thy men! happy are these thy servants, who stand continually before thee, who hear thy wisdom!

9 Blessed be Jehovah thy God, who delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel! Because Jehovah loves Israel for ever, therefore did he make thee king, to do judgment and justice.”

Luke 11:31 ” and behold, more than Solomon is here”

Philippians 2:6-11 “6 who, subsisting in the form of God, did not esteem it an object of rapine to be on an equality with God;7 but emptied himself, taking a bondman’s form, taking his place in [the] likeness of men;8 and having been found in figure as a man, humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and [that the] death of [the] cross.

9 Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and granted him a name, that which is above every name,10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly and earthly and infernal [beings],11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord to God [the] Father’s glory.”

  • “God so loved the world”

The greatest love in the universe is revealed to mankind in the Gospel: “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son”—Jesus Christ—for poor, needy sinners. How amazing!

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

John 3:14-21 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, thus must the Son of man be lifted up,15 that every one who believes on him may [not perish, but] have life eternal.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal.17 For God has not sent his Son into the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him.18 He that believes on him is not judged: but he that believes not has been already judged, because he has not believed on the name of the only-begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the judgment, that light is come into the world, and men have loved darkness rather than light; for their works were evil.20 For every one that does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light that his works may not be shewn as they are;21 but he that practises the truth comes to the light, that his works may be manifested that they have been wrought in God.”

John 3:35-36 “35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things [to be] in his hand.36 He that believes on the Son has life eternal, and he that is not subject to the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides upon him.”

  • From Distress to Deliverance

Many people today find themselves distressed by the trials and worries of life. The Gospel calls sinners to the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, whom He sent as the Saviour of the world. There is hope for the distressed sinner in the Gospel because Jesus has come to bring salvation and turn darkness into light. He welcomes you through the Gospel. Have you accepted His invitation?

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

1 Samuel 22:1-2 “And David departed thence, and escaped to the cave of Adullam. And his brethren and all his father’s house heard [it], and they went down thither to him.2 And every one in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one of embittered spirit collected round him; and he became a captain over them; and there were with him about four hundred men.”

Luke 24:13-27 “13 And behold, two of them were going on the same day to a village distant sixty stadia from Jerusalem, called Emmaus;14 and they conversed with one another about all these things which had taken place.15 And it came to pass as they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus himself drawing nigh, went with them;16 but their eyes were holden so as not to know him.

17 And he said to them, What discourses are these which pass between you as ye walk, and are downcast?18 And one [of them], named Cleopas, answering said to him, Thou sojournest alone in Jerusalem, and dost not know what has taken place in it in these days?19 And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazaraean, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to [the] judgment of death and crucified him.

21 But *we* had hoped that *he* was [the one] who is about to redeem Israel. But then, besides all these things, it is now, to-day, the third day since these things took place.22 And withal, certain women from amongst us astonished us, having been very early at the sepulchre,23 and, not having found his body, came, saying that they also had seen a vision of angels, who say that he is living.24 And some of those with us went to the sepulchre, and found it so, as the women also had said, but him they saw not.

25 And *he* said to them, O senseless and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!26 Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into his glory?27 And having begun from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.”

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 “13 But we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them that are fallen asleep, to the end that ye be not grieved even as also the rest who have no hope.14 For if we believe that Jesus has died and has risen again, so also God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.

    15 (For this we say to you in [the] word of [the] Lord, that *we*, the living, who remain to the coming of the Lord, are in no way to anticipate those who have fallen asleep;

16 for the Lord himself, with an assembling shout, with archangel’s voice and with trump of God, shall descend from heaven; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;17 then *we*, the living who remain, shall be caught up together with them in [the] clouds, to meet the Lord in [the] air; and thus we shall be always with [the] Lord.18 So encourage one another with these words.)”

Philippians 4:11 “11 Not that I speak as regards privation, for as to me *I* have learnt in those circumstances in which I am, to be satisfied in myself.”

Philippians 4:13 “13 I have strength for all things in him that gives me power.”

  • The Precious Blood of Jesus

In this Gospel you will hear about what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for you that you might be saved from your sins. How wonderful it is to have the weight of sin lifted from your life. The Bible tells us that nothing but the blood of Jesus can wash away our sins.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

Isaiah 1:18 “18 Come now, let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Psalms 51:7 “7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.”

Hebrews 9:13-14 “13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and a heifer’s ashes sprinkling the defiled, sanctifies for the purity of the flesh,

14 how much rather shall the blood of the Christ, who by the eternal Spirit offered himself spotless to God, purify your conscience from dead works to worship [the] living God?”

Hebrews 9:22 “and without blood-shedding there is no remission.”

Ephesians 5:25-27 “25 Husbands, love your own wives, even as the Christ also loved the assembly, and has delivered himself up for it,26 in order that he might sanctify it, purifying [it] by the washing of water by [the] word,27 that *he* might present the assembly to himself glorious, having no spot, or wrinkle, or any of such things; but that it might be holy and blameless.”

  • The King of Kings

The Gospel message is an invitation to you from the king of kings, the Lord Jesus Christ. Have you responded to this wonderful invitation?

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

Luke 1:26-35 “26 But in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent of God to a city of Galilee, of which [the] name [was] Nazareth,27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name [was] Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name [was] Mary.

    28 And the angel came in to her, and said, Hail, [thou] favoured one! the Lord [is] with thee: [blessed art *thou* amongst women].29 But she, [seeing] [the angel], was troubled at his word, and reasoned in her mind what this salutation might be.30 And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favour with God;31 and behold, thou shalt conceive in the womb and bear a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus.32 *He* shall be great, and shall be called Son of [the] Highest; and [the] Lord God shall give him the throne of David his father;

33 and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for the ages, and of his kingdom there shall not be an end.

34 But Mary said to the angel, How shall this be, since I know not a man?

35 And the angel answering said to her, [The] Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and power of [the] Highest overshadow thee, wherefore the holy thing also which shall be born shall be called Son of God.”

Luke 1:78-79 “78 on account of [the] bowels of mercy of our God; wherein [the] dayspring from on high has visited us,79 to shine upon them who were sitting in darkness and in [the] shadow of death, to guide our feet into [the] way of peace.”

John 18:33-38 “33 Pilate therefore entered again into the praetorium and called Jesus, and said to him, Thou art the king of the Jews?

34 Jesus answered [him], Dost thou say this of thyself, or have others said it to thee concerning me?35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thy nation and the chief priests have delivered thee up to me: what hast thou done?36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my servants had fought that I might not be delivered up to the Jews; but now my kingdom is not from hence.

37 Pilate therefore said to him, Thou art then a king? Jesus answered, Thou sayest [it], that I am a king. I have been born for this, and for this I have come into the world, that I might bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.38 Pilate says to him, What is truth? And having said this he went out again to the Jews, and says to them, I find no fault whatever in him.”

  • God is still Speaking to you

In the year 2024, God is still speaking to mankind in the Gospel. Many people today may turn away from God’s Word, classing it as not relevant. But God, in His grace and love for mankind, is still speaking. There is a Saviour for sinners, and He is found in the Lord Jesus.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

Ezekiel 33:11 “11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”

Romans 3:22 “for there is no difference;23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

John 3:16 “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal.”

Acts 4:12 “12 And salvation is in none other, for neither is there another name under heaven which is given among men by which we must be saved.”
