  • “I’d Rather Have Jesus”
    What possession in your life is most precious to you? Everyone will answer this question differently. The Gospel is preached to focus our attention on a possession that is far greater than anything material; a relationship with the Savour, Jesus Christ.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
    2 Corinthians 4:6-7 “6 Because [it is] the God who spoke that out of darkness light should shine who has shone in our hearts for the shining forth of the knowledge of the glory of God in [the] face of [Jesus] Christ.7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, “

  • The Righteousness of God
    In this Gospel preaching you will hear from the scriptures about the righteousness of God. We live in a world of unrighteousness and God assessment of the world in Romans 3 tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. There is good news in the Gospel and the Bible tells us that the Lord Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
    Romans 1:16-20 “16 For I am not ashamed of the glad tidings; for it is God’s power to salvation, to every one that believes, both to Jew first and to Greek:17 for righteousness of God is revealed therein, on the principle of faith, to faith: according as it is written, But the just shall live by faith.
    18 For there is revealed wrath of God from heaven upon all impiety, and unrighteousness of men holding the truth in unrighteousness.19 Because what is known of God is manifest among them, for God has manifested [it] to them,
    20 —for from [the] world’s creation the invisible things of him are perceived, being apprehended by the mind through the things that are made, both his eternal power and divinity,—so as to render them inexcusable.”
    Romans 2:1 “2 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, every one who judgest, for in that in which thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.”
    Romans 3:21-26 “21 But now without law righteousness of God is manifested, borne witness to by the law and the prophets;22 righteousness of God by faith of Jesus Christ towards all, and upon all those who believe: for there is no difference;
    23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption which [is] in Christ Jesus;
    25 whom God has set forth a mercy-seat, through faith in his blood, for [the] shewing forth of his righteousness, in respect of the passing by the sins that had taken place before, through the forbearance of God;26 for [the] shewing forth of his righteousness in the present time, so that he should be just, and justify him that is of [the] faith of Jesus.”
    Acts 17:30-31 “30 God therefore, having overlooked the times of ignorance, now enjoins men that they shall all everywhere repent,
    31 because he has set a day in which he is going to judge the habitable earth in righteousness by [the] man whom he has appointed, giving the proof [of it] to all [in] having raised him from among [the] dead.”

    The reference to working with Christ the JND bible makes a note “l“on  Cor 3: 9 on the word fellow workmen: “Workers or fellow labourers together with God goes too far. The Greek word has the sense of journeyman, but they are fellows doing the chief’s work: see 2 Cor 6:1”
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
    Ezra 1:1-4 “1 And in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Jehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Jehovah stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, and he made a proclamation throughout his kingdom, and also in writing, saying,2 Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth has Jehovah the God of the heavens given to me, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
    3 Whosoever there is among you of all his people, his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Jehovah the God of Israel—he is God—which is at Jerusalem.4 And whosoever remains in any place where he sojourns, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, besides the voluntary offering for the house of God which is at Jerusalem.”
    Ephesians 2:18-22 “18 For through him we have both access by one Spirit to the Father.19 So then ye are no longer strangers and foreigners, but ye are fellow-citizens of the saints, and of the household of God,
    20 being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the corner-stone,21 in whom all [the] building fitted together increases to a holy temple in the Lord;22 in whom *ye* also are built together for a habitation of God in [the] Spirit.”
    Ephesians 3: 9-12 “9 and to enlighten all [with the knowledge of] what is the administration of the mystery hidden throughout the ages in God, who has created all things,10 in order that now to the principalities and authorities in the heavenlies might be made known through the assembly the all-various wisdom of God,
    11 according to [the] purpose of the ages, which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord,12 in whom we have boldness and access in confidence by the faith of him.”
    Ezra 1:5 “5 And the chief fathers of Judah and Benjamin rose up, and the priests, and the Levites, even all those whose spirit God had stirred, to go up to build the house of Jehovah which is at Jerusalem.”
    1 Corinthians 3:9-17 “9 For we are God’s fellow-workmen; ye are God’s husbandry, God’s building.10 According to the grace of God which has been given to me, as a wise architect, I have laid the foundation, but another builds upon it. But let each see how he builds upon it.
    11 For other foundation can no man lay besides that which [is] laid, which is Jesus Christ.12 Now if any one build upon [this] foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, grass, straw,13 the work of each shall be made manifest; for the day shall declare [it], because it is revealed in fire; and the fire shall try the work of each what it is.14 If the work of any one which he has built upon [the foundation] shall abide, he shall receive a reward.
    15 If the work of any one shall be consumed, he shall suffer loss, but *he* shall be saved, but so as through [the] fire.16 Do ye not know that ye are [the] temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you?17 If any one corrupt the temple of God, *him* shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are *ye*.”
    Ezra 1:11 “11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand four hundred. The whole did Sheshbazzar

    3 And not only [that], but we also boast in tribulations, knowing that tribulation works endurance;4 and endurance, experience; and experience, hope; 5 and hope does not make ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by [the] Holy Spirit which has been given to us:”

  • Is your soul prospering?
    God desires for your soul to prosper and for your faith in the Lord Jesus to really grow. Sometimes our spiritual walk can become dry and we can experience  leanness of soul. In this short word you will hear what the scriptures say about prosperity and giving Christ the first place.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
    Psalms 106:13-15 “13 They soon forgot his works; they waited not for his counsel:14 And they lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.15 Then he gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.”
    Genesis 39:1-3 “And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, a chamberlain of Pharaoh, the captain of the life-guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hand of the Ishmaelites who had brought him down thither.2 And Jehovah was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
    3 And his master saw that Jehovah was with him, and that Jehovah made all that he did to prosper in his hand.”
    Genesis 39:22-23 “22 And the chief of the tower-house committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the tower-house; and whatever they had to do there he did.23 The chief of the tower-house looked not to anything under his hand, because Jehovah was with him; and what he did, Jehovah made it prosper.”
    Psalm 1:3 “3 And he [is] as a tree planted by brooks of water, which giveth its fruit in its season, and whose leaf fadeth not; and all that he doeth prospereth.”
    1 John 3:2-6 “1 The elder to the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth.2 Beloved, I desire that in all things thou shouldest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.
    3 For I rejoiced exceedingly when [the] brethren came and bore testimony to thy [holding fast the] truth, even as *thou* walkest in truth.4 I have no greater joy than these things that I hear of my children walking in the truth.
    5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully [in] whatever thou mayest have wrought towards the brethren and that strangers,6 (who have witnessed of thy love before [the] assembly,) in setting forward whom on their journey worthily of God, thou wilt do well;“

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
    Genesis 16:7-8 “7 And the Angel of Jehovah found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur.8 And he said, Hagar, Sarai’s maidservant, whence comest thou? and whither art thou going?”

  • All Things New
    Jesus can make all things new. The Gospel is preached because God desires to make all thing new for you. In our sins we are far from God and face the coming judgment but there is good news. Jesus came into the world to save sinners. In this preaching, you will how Jesus came make things new through the work he competed at Calvary.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
    John 3:1-21 “3 But there was a man from among the Pharisees, his name Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;2 he came to him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God, for none can do these signs that thou doest unless God be with him.
    3 Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born anew he cannot see the kingdom of God.4 Nicodemus says to him, How can a man be born being old? can he enter a second time into the womb of his mother and be born?
    5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.7 Do not wonder that I said to thee, It is needful that *ye* should be born anew.
    8 The wind blows where it will, and thou hearest its voice, but knowest not whence it comes and where it goes: thus is every one that is born of the Spirit.
    9 Nicodemus answered and said to him, How can these things be?10 Jesus answered and said to him, Thou art the teacher of Israel and knowest not these things!
    11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that which we know, and we bear witness of that which we have seen, and ye receive not our witness.12 If I have said the earthly things to you, and ye believe not, how, if I say the heavenly things to you, will ye believe?
    13 And no one has gone up into heaven, save he who came down out of heaven, the Son of man who is in heaven.14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, thus must the Son of man be lifted up,
    15 that every one who believes on him may [not perish, but] have life eternal.16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal.
    17 For God has not sent his Son into the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him.18 He that believes on him is not judged: but he that believes not has been already judged, because he has not believed on the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
    19 And this is the judgment, that light is come into the world, and men have loved darkness rather than light; for their works were evil.20 For every one that does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light that his works may not be shewn as they are;
    21 but he that practises the truth comes to the light, that his works may be manifested that they have been wrought in God.”

    8 and having been found in figure as a man, humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and [that the] death of [the] cross.9 Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and granted him a name, that which is above every name,

    39 for I say unto you, Ye shall in no wise see me henceforth until ye say, Blessed [be] he that comes in the name of [the] Lord.”

    11 And having come into the house they saw the little child with Mary his mother, and falling down did him homage. And having opened their treasures, they offered to him gifts, gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.12 And being divinely instructed in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.”
