  • Three Cries From Scripture
In the following Gospel preaching, you will hear about three cries from scripture. The first and second cry came from the Lord Jesus to awaken in your heart a need for Salvation.  The third cry from Revelation 10 we see there the cry of the conquerer when all things are set right for God by the Lord Jesus.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Matthew 27:45-50 “Now from [the] sixth hour there was darkness over the whole land until [the] ninth hour;46 but about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?47 And some of those who stood there, when they heard [it], said, This [man] calls for Elias.
48 And immediately one of them running and getting a sponge, having filled [it] with vinegar and fixed [it] on a reed, gave him to drink.49 But the rest said, Let be; let us see if Elias comes to save him.50 And Jesus, having again cried with a loud voice, gave up the ghost.”
John 7:37-39 “In the last, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried saying, If any one thirst, let him come to me and drink.38 He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.39 But this he said concerning the Spirit, which they that believed on him were about to receive; for [the] Spirit was not yet, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.
Revelation 10:1-7 “And I saw another strong angel coming down out of the heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the rainbow upon his head, and his countenance as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire,2 and having in his hand a little opened book. And he set his right foot on the sea, and the left upon the earth,3 and cried with a loud voice as a lion roars. And when he cried, the seven thunders uttered their own voices.
4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write: and I heard a voice out of the heaven saying, Seal the things which the seven thunders have spoken, and write them not.5 And the angel whom I saw stand on the sea and on the earth lifted up his right hand to the heaven,6 and swore by him that lives to the ages of ages, who created the heaven and the things that are in it, and the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be no longer delay;7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God also shall be completed, as he has made known the glad tidings to his own bondmen the prophets.”

  • 2 Timothy 2
In the second epistle of Timothy Paul encourages his readers to live our lives pleasing to God. Listen to the following address and discover from the examples Paul uses how we as believers can present ourselves acceptable to God.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
2 Timothy 2:1-9 “Thou therefore, my child, be strong in the grace which [is] in Christ Jesus.2 And the things thou hast heard of me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, such as shall be competent to instruct others also.3 Take thy share in suffering as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.4 No one going as a soldier entangles himself with the affairs of life, that he may please him who has enlisted him as a soldier.5 And if also any one contend [in the games], he is not crowned unless he contend lawfully.
6 The husbandman must labour before partaking of the fruits.7 Think of what I say, for the Lord will give thee understanding in all things.8 Remember Jesus Christ raised from among [the] dead, of [the] seed of David, according to my glad tidings,9 in which I suffer even unto bonds as an evil-doer: but the word of God is not bound.”
2 Timothy 2:15 “Strive diligently to present thyself approved to God, a workman that has not to be ashamed, cutting in a straight line the word of truth.”

Luke 19:1-10 “And he entered and passed through Jericho.2 And behold, [there was] a man by name called Zacchaeus, and he was chief tax-gatherer, and he was rich.3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was: and he could not for the crowd, because he was little in stature.4 And running on before, he got up into a sycamore that he might see him, for he was going to pass that [way].5 And when he came up to the place, Jesus looked up and saw him, and said to him, Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for to-day I must remain in thy house.6 And he made haste and came down, and received him with joy.7 And all murmured when they saw [it], saying, He has turned in to lodge with a sinful man.8 But Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor, and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I return [him] fourfold.9 And Jesus said to him, To-day salvation is come to this house, inasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham;10 for the Son of man has come to seek and to save that which is lost.”

Acts 7:54-60 “And hearing these things they were cut to the heart, and gnashed their teeth against him.55 But being full of [the] Holy Spirit, having fixed his eyes on heaven, he saw [the] glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,56 and said, Lo, I behold the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing at the right hand of God.57 And they cried out with a loud voice, and held their ears, and rushed upon him with one accord;58 and having cast [him] out of the city, they stoned [him]. And the witnesses laid aside their clothes at the feet of a young man called Saul.59 And they stoned Stephen, praying, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60 And kneeling down, he cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And having said this, he fell asleep.”
