John Reusing of owner of Bad Decisions in Canton joined us to talk about the official cocktail of the Preakness–the Black Eyed Susan. He brought 3 versions of the cocktail to taste as we talked about the sad muddled history of this cocktail. The recipes of all three are below for your Preakness celebrations and beyond! The Original 1973 Black Eyed Susan Mix: 1 oz Vodka, 1 oz Rum, 3/4 oz Triple Sec, 1.5 oz Orange Juice, 1.5 oz Pineapple Juice Garnish: Orange  lime wedge and a maraschino cherry Serve over ice   2014 Black Eyed Susan Mix: 1.5 oz Vodka, 1/2 oz St Germain  3/4 oz Orange Juice, 2 oz Pineapple Juice, 1/4 oz lime juice Garnish: Orange slice Serve over ice   2014 Black Eyed Susan Mix: 1 oz Rye, 1 oz Vodka, 1/2 oz Cointreau, 1.5 oz Pineapple, 1.5 oz Orange Garnish: Lime Slice Serve over ice
