How should we respond in times of crises? Daniel gives us an example in Daniel 2:14ff by being tactful, practical, prayerful, thankful, purposeful, and humble.

What do you do when the 'normal' way of doing things is not possible? Are there questions you have that 'no man on earth' can answer?

Do you sometimes feel like you are now living in a "foreign" land? What if they changed your name, feed you their 'diet,' reeducated you in their ways... would you compromise your beliefs and assimilate? Or, would you stand firm in your beliefs?

Today we sang, "Is your name written there..." If Paul were writing a letter and including a comment about you, would it be a part of the 'Hall of Fame" or a cause for shame?

Could you accept that living as servants means living as one who ministers, as a powerful witness, and as 'pioneers'? The text is Romans 15:14-33. If that is how Paul defined his work, why not for you and I?

We have an obligation, an example, a source, and a call upon our life. Read Romans 15:1-13 and listen in.

It's not a matter of "Thou shalt not..." It is just that Paul chose to define how we should live for others by means of a list of what not to do...

How do you related to the weak and/or strong? Four things we need to remember: 1) God welcomes, 2) God sustains, 3) Jesus is Lord, and 4) Jesus is judge. Have you 'put on Christ' so you can respond appropriately?

How can all of the law be summed up in the command to love? How do love and discipline relate to one another?

What does it mean to you that Jesus told Pilate, "My kingdom is not of this world"? Or what about Paul - "Our citizenship is in heaven"? How do you make sense of the apparent conflict between Romans 13 and Revelation 13 regarding the relationship we are to have to governing authorities?
