In today's episode, I propose that the stress your child may be feeling about: (1) not getting into his/her dream school, or (2) the agonizing decision as to whether to attend Wesleyan or Swarthmore, is the least of their problems.  

There are much bigger fish to fry. 

In the big scheme of things, which college your son or daughter decides to attend means very little compared to the answers to these four questions:

1. Can I afford College X?
2. Is College X worth $250K - $400K?
3. What will I study in college?
4. Will there be a job for me in 2031?

These are the questions that should be getting the most attention.
