Where are all the old buildings in the architectural drawings and artist’s conceptions of the future? Where’s the old post office, hotel, or city building? Even in science fiction the cities of the future are ultra modern with no ties to the past. Is that OK? Or, should we be thinking about how our past and present tie into our future?
