Mama Mia! Star Wars Celebration was this week and we were most excited for... Indiana Jones? What a misfire! Dave Filoni and James Mangold have exciting projects but we have our Reyservations about another one.

Waaahaaa! The Blue Beetle trailer dropped and James Gunn gave us a peak behind the curtain of a potential DC/Marvel crossover which would be... epic to say the least.

Who's trying to go back to school? Well, the Hogwarts admissions office seems to be sending letters to HBOMax for a potential streaming service rebooting the entire franchise.

To round it all out, we saw The Super Mario Bros. Movie and we were happy, to say the least!

This week on Press Any Key Episode #108, we get out our character sheets and our d20's to review the latest  @paramountpictures  release Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. A quick 2-hour romp with a cast of misfits continually failing and going on fetch quests so they can rob their old friend. Sounds like most DnD games I've played, but with fewer murder hobos.

We'd love to talk about how Liz is enjoying The Last of Us launch on PC, but she's averaging 16 crashes an hour. Amassing over 9k horribly negative steam reviews, the game was horrifically ported over to the PC and is really pissing the bed on cashing in with the show's popularity.

Pat's excited anytime we get to talk about Batman, and there's speculative Batman news! Filmmaker Mike Flanagan (Doctor Sleep) pitched a feature version of potentially The Batman 2 with Clayface as a main villain. Will they make him the golden age actor-murder, or will he be a big ol' mud man?

Ike Perlmutter, Disney + Marvel's racist/misogynistic/homophobic Ebenezer Scrooge, got fired! This man has been at the helm of Marvel and has actively been blocking creatives like Kevin Feige for the better part of 2 decades. Maybe this is what it takes to pull Marvel back up so we avoid any more Ant-Man failures.

Speaking of canceled, E3 is officially dead for this year (and possibly the future). Most game companies and developers are opting for their own showcases since they're substantially cheaper and easier to put on. But we think this really kills the magic. Of course, they're going to opt for bottom-line profit, but we're never gonna get weird pictures of celebrities awkwardly playing Gamecube.

We've got 10 minutes of gameplay for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (or Breath of the Wild 2 whatever you wanna call it we don't care). Basically, Link's got a bunch of duct tape and a nail gun so he can stick virtually anything together to make random weapons, cars, flying machines, weapons of mass destruction, you name it. Needless to say, we're still psyched for this.

Honor Among Thieves stars Chris Pine as a failure of a bard, Michelle Rodriguez kicking into her barbarian rage, Sophia Lillis playing a fly/rat/deer/owlbear, and Justice Smith getting typecast into his standard kid that gets bullied roll. And, for what it's worth, this is the best version of the movie that it could have been. There are plenty of cool practical effects, actual solid writing and purpose for the plot, and decent acting. It just won't be a movie you think about after you leave the theatre, unfortunately.

This week on Press Any Key #107, we saw potentially the final John Wick movie of the franchise. Well, that entirely depends on what you make of the ending - do you side with Keanu as the lead or Stahelsk as the director? Regardless, we all really enjoyed this movie and had a fun conversation about the "consequences" of John's actions.  @capcom  absolutely knocked it out of the park with the Resident Evil 4 Remake. Pat streamed a couple of hours of gameplay (check it out here https://youtube.com/live/VR-KhBrBW8g?feature=share). A lot of quality-of-life improvements are graphically beautiful and bring just the right amount of nostalgia.  @Apple  and  @AmazonStudios  are making a multi-billion dollar push to bring their movies to the big screen. THANK YOU. Hopefully, they won't fill the theaters with bloat (although Mike thinks we need some fat back on the screens). But think about where this could lead - wouldn't it be incredible to see weekly releases of shows like Stranger Things in a theatre with everyone's reactions? It's go potential. TMNT graphic novel "The Last Ronin" is becoming a triple-A video game, inspired by RPGs like God of War. It's being developed by an unnamed studio, but this darker, more mature take on the Ninja Turtles. More info to come.  @roosterteeth  rolled out a new logo (but apparently still has the old one as their profile pic, as I just learned by tagging them) and let's just say, if you're hankerin' for some fried chicken and wanna try a new fast food joint, you'll be in luck.

This week on Press Any Key Episode 102,  @marvel  kicks off Phase 5 with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and well... it wasn't the start that we hoped for. Don't get us wrong there's a lot to like (Michael Douglass and his Ants), but if you're expecting an emotional journey or high stakes, definitely wait until this comes out on streaming platforms.

In light of the recent news with Bruce Willis's neurological disease, we pay a short tribute discussing some of our favorite films he's been a part of. We learn that he only had a few uncredited roles and then BOOM he was in Die Hard. What a legend.

Speaking of legends, I Am Legend 2 is in the works and they're just like "yeah that alternate ending is the one we're using now, it's cool calm down." So Will Smith is alive, and Michael B. Jordan is joining in. How many more post-apoaolytpic stories are coming out of The Last of Us success?

 @dcofficial  dropped the new Flash trailer and oh my god is it crazy. We got time travel, multiverses, multiple Batmans (Ben Affleck + Michael Keaton), General Sod (Michael Shannon), Supergirl (Sasha Calle), everything you name it. Comes to theaters June 16th, as of posting this video.

This week on Press Any Key Episode 101, we're gobstones deep into the latest adventure in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter -  @HogwartsLegacy . We've captured some gameplay, glitches, and other fun random footage of our traversal around Hogland. Of course we're all in different houses, and are playing it dramatically differently.

Before we get into our review and experiences, we talk through  @amctheatres  and their next endeavor of bringing people back to the movies... by charging them more money to pick "the good seats" (which confirms that all along, they were charging the same amount for the bad ones.)

 @A24  signed on a 17 year old director to work on a Backrooms found footage horror/thriller film. He's just gotta finish it over his 2 month summer break (I'm not kidding).

 @NintendoAmerica  came out with another direct, full of random junk no one asked for that no one is going to play. We'll ignore all that, let's just talk about the new Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailer - we can ride cars baby! We've also got a few other cool things announced, looking at you Metroid (where's the 4th game though Nintendo, huh?).

Nick brought a "tame" Clip of the Week this time which, to his credit, will not get us another channel strike for violence.
