This week on Press Any Key Episode #89, we reach the end of an era (thankfully). But before we get into the chaos that was this latest Halloween movie, we've got some usual updates about the fun world of Marvel Delays, Amouranth's unfortunate relationship, computers catching fire, and Pat's "Son of Mailman" 6-part horror franchise. We're also joined by Rob from  @The Gaming Duo Podcast who gives his insight into gaming, movies, and Twitch drama. Currently sitting at an abysmal 1.9/5 google review and 41% on Rotten Tomatoes, Halloween Ends (2022) is the final chapter, goddamn better be, in Laurie Strode's (Jamie Lee Curtis) journey with Michael Myers. Four years after her last encounter, Laurie's living a simple, suburban life with her granddaughter Allyson (And Matichak). Trying to write her memoir and put the past behind her, a young man named Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell) accused of murdering a boy he was babysitting falls into Laurie and Allyson's life in what's a random, whirlwind romance that takes up to an hour of the film for absolutely nothing. He's kinda like Michael Myers pt.2 cause they're hanging out, but a bunch happens that makes the audience both disappointed and confused at the direction of this entire movie. We apologize for what we said about Rob Zombie in our The Munsters review, he did this series much more justice. Nick caps off the show with another Dall-E Generation Game! Can you guess what two video games he's mashed together in these AI-generated images? I love when we mess around with technology that shouldn't exist.

This week on Press Any Key, we're back to the three of us talking our normal garbage with a video game-filled show topped off by a new  @Marvel Entertainment horror-homage movie. In movie news,  @Blumhouse 's SPAWN movie has added Scott Silver (Joker), Malcolm Spellman (Falcon and the Winter Soldier), and newer face Matt Mixon as writers. Todd McFarlane's still directing, Jamie Foxx is still 100% on board, and maybe Jeremy Renner? We've also got  @Nintendo of America 's trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, where Jack Black absolutely kills it and Chris Pratt sounds like Linda from Bob's Burgers. We're still optimistic! Lots of gaming news and updates! We check out the new  @Electronic Arts  Deadspace Remaster trailer set to release Jan 27th, 2023 and it's looking good.  @Google 's gaming service  @Stadia  is unsurprisingly being shut down. It had some benefits, do you know anyone who used it? Finally,  @CD PROJEKT RED  talks about new Cyberpunk 2077 DLC and Orion, its follow up to the original, as well as a bunch of Witcher games! Main topic is Werewolf by Night (2022) with Laura Donnelly, Gael García Bernal, and Harriet Sansom Harris on  @Disney Plus . A stylish homage to the old school 1930s and 40s monster movies, shot in mainly black and white with smoke and mirror effects. As of posting, it's currently MCU's highest rated audience scored show. This week on Press Any Key, we've got a whole heap of info for you all tied up nicely with some puppet strings and badly animated oceans (Avatar excluded...) On Sept 7th, @Apple came out swinging with its iPhone 14 event focusing on the new tech updates for the upcoming phones. Major changes include an insane new camera, the strongest processor out there, an "always on display" that has Mike wearing a tin foil hat, and its new dynamic island feature. The Apple Watch and AirPod Pros got some quality-of-life updates. If you're a Disney adult, just like Pat, we go over all the updates from the D23 Expo. In addition to all the little bits and pieces about the parks, we got some info on Marvel and Star Wars. Nick can't wait for more Avatar: The Way of Water, we see some Captain America 4, Loki Season 2, Thunderbolts, Daredevil, Echo, and Fantastic Four. There's a LOT in here, Pat runs it down like a champ. Finally, we talk about the new @Disney Plus release Pinocchio (2022). The cast includes Tom Hanks (Geppetto), Cynthia Erivo (Blue Fairy), Benjamin Evan (Pinocchio), Luke Evans (Coachman), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Jiminy Cricket), and a few others. As of writing, it's currently sitting around a 30% on @Rotten Tomatoes Trailers... and we have to agree. There are a few redeemable elements of the movie, but if you want to keep Pinocchio untainted in your nostalgic memory, this is a skip.
