Officials in Maine provide the latest update on mass shootings. The number of deaths now confirmed to be 18 and injuries 12. Robert Card now named a suspect in the case, is not in police custody, and a massive search is now underway. Maine's Governor Janet Mills called the shooting a tragedy saying "Thus city did not deserve this."

The Lewis–Clark Valley murders refer to a series of unsolved crimes between 1979 and 1982 in the Lewiston-Clarkston metropolitan area, spanning the states of Washington and Idaho. These tragic events involved the disappearance and murder of at least five individuals, leaving a lasting impact on the communities and the families of the victims. 
Despite extensive investigations, these cases remain cold, with authorities believing they are connected to a single suspect. However, no arrests have been made, and the perpetrator's identity remains unknown. 
The mystery of these cases continues to haunt the region, and efforts to find justice for the victims persist.

Through his ownership and operation of Silk Road, ULBRICHT reaped commissions worth more than $13 million generated from the illicit sales conducted through the site. ULBRICHT also demonstrated a willingness to use violence to protect his criminal enterprise and the anonymity of its users, soliciting six murders-for-hire in connection with operating the site, although there is no evidence that these murders were actually carried out. -FBI.gov

CrimeCon Rewind: With Justin of Generation Why

On Monday, February 9, 2004, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a black-colored Saturn 4-door sedan vehicle, belonging to 21-year-old Maura Murray, traveled off Route 112 in Haverhill, New Hampshire, and became stuck. The roads in that area of northern New Hampshire were snow-covered at the time. Murray was not present at the crash scene when police arrived and has not been seen nor heard from since. Murray was last seen on surveillance footage earlier in the day at an ATM wearing a dark jacket and jeans.
Prior to that, Murray had left the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she was studying nursing. Murray did not share with others her pending trip to New Hampshire, which was about 2.5 hours away. Murray received prior education at the United States Military Academy at West Point, was an avid runner, and enjoyed hiking in the White Mountains. - FBI.gov

CrimeCon Rewind: Maura Murray with Crawlspace

Tony” Muncy (15) was last seen on October 15, 1983, in the evening hours at the York Plaza Movie Theatre in Columbus. On October 16, 1983, his dismembered body was found on South Galena Road, Galena, Delaware County, Ohio.Cause of death: multiple stab wounds in the back. All extremities were either partly or completely severed from his torso. His severed arms seemed to cut at the elbows. His legs and his head were partly severed.
