We don’t know much about what James and Jude did. We are not even sure outside of early church tradition where they served or how they died. To us they are unknown soldiers, but they are known only to God!

You want your life to count! Believe and act upon what Simon says. 1 Every candidate alive is a candidate for God’s grace. 2 Jesus brings people together. 3 God’s Kingdom is more important than our own.

In our continuing sub series from Why Believe, we look at the disciple Thomas. Thomas physically put his hands on Jesus. Is your faith like doubting Thomas? Or is it a faith that says "I believe...show me." Ask Christ to change your life today and mean it! Bring your doubts to Him like Thomas did. The key is to be able to say "My Lord, My God"...not someone else's lord or someone else's god..."My Lord, My God."

God can use anyone! What a wonderful truth! He used an honest seeker…and an administrative guru to accomplish His Kingdom purposes. Both remained faithful to the very end…and both were used greatly to further the cause of Christ and the glory of His name. Take confidence, Church, that He can use you to do the same!

Come under Christ’s rule and reign. Submit the totality of your being to Jesus. He’ll make your strengths even stronger and will draw you closer in your weaknesses. With open hands and open heart, give Him all that you are…and I can promise you when this happens…your life will count for all of eternity.

Each life…each man has a story to tell. There is something we can learn from each and every one of the disciples. And the theme that we are wrapping around this “series within a series” is – “Why Believe? Because Your Life Is Made to Count!”
