In today's episode, Sami shares 6 things that helped her become a more intentional and intuitive eater. It starts by creating a mantra and reciting it before each meal. You can become more intentional when eating by dismissing your distractions. No wonder you can't get in touch with your fullness cues, you're distracted! When you have built a balanced plate of food in front of you, Sami encourages you to appreciate the food in front of you and think of how you want to FEEL after eating this plate of food. Sami encourages you to engage your senses, taking note of the aroma, textures, and flavors with each and every bite. Sami wants to encourage you to put your fork down every couple bites, to allow your fullness cues in your brain to catch up to the fullness in your stomach.
