I went back and forth about whether to post this episode for so many reasons other than it's choppy. But I promised myself when I started my blog @ www.prettybeastfit.com/blog/ and this podcast that I would only speak from a space of honesty and integrity and a huge portion of that requires that I be vulnerable. This was my first recording and editing process so you can see that it takes time to get things how you want them. Transparency moment, I'm learning to be comfortable with sucking at something in the beginning. lol. The #1 reason I chose to add this to the podcast is because this is truly my experience. And one I've been very hesitant to share with the world for fear of being the weird one. But I don't care about that anymore, it's one of my super powers hence the reference of a "personality of an alien." One of the biggest lessons I've learned on my spiritual journey is feeling is healing. And that includes every emotion, even the ones that make us cry. Shout out to my ego death.

Shower meditation is a common technique used to help us tap into our inner self. Water is more healing than we give it credit for and here I guide you through a short meditation to help expand your awareness and go deeper than your physical body. Before you start your practice, get in a comfortable seat in a chair or any flat surface. You can cross your legs or if it's more comfortable not to, that's fine also. You may keep you hands planted on your knees if you prefer, the goal is to be comfortable but alert. Intention setting is not a requirement since the practice itself is an intention for stillness. Here I invite you join me in my intention for you, which is to simply listen to your higher self. Enjoy!
