Do you feel pressured to make 10K+ in less than 6 months when you're just starting out in business? How about seeing everyone featured as a "top 10...." in the media, do you feel like you NEED the validation?
I'm talking about exactly THAT in this week's solo episode. This toxic behavior needs to stop, we're constantly chasing after validation, and it ends up becoming a vicious cycle that causes people to show their "highlight reels" (pun intended) on social media, and also becomes a manipulation of twisting the truth and not being authentic. I'm NOT here for this. I'm encouraging you to stand for what you believe in, uphold your values, and only chase after your past self and use them as competition! Thanks for coming to my ted talk 😂

What's the craziest thing you've ever done in your life? Do you think you'll remember in 5 years, or 10, or 20 when you're looking back on your life? In this week's episode, we talk to Jessica Smith, author of the book Your Twenties and we got deep and personal talking about heartbreak, expectations we're supposed to follow in our early and mid-twenties, and the moments and memories that define our lives. See, we're expected to have things figured out by the time we hit thirty, and usually, a certain birthday is followed by a quarter-life crisis, but have you ever stopped to think what happens when we don't? Spoiler alert: nothing, you ARE allowed to not have things figured out and that's okay, it doesn't make you any less amazing!

Have you ever wondered why some people tend to "make it" and others don't? Why some podcast shows have more success than others? Why some people get better guests and others can't even convince their grandma to be a guest? Spoiler alert: it's passion. But what does that have to do with podcasting you ask? Well, you're gonna have to listen and find out!
In this new series of episodes, every 2 weeks I'll be talking about ONE topic related to podcasting and spilling all the secrets I've learned this past year in the industry & busting all the myths too. Buckle up, 'cause it's about to get interesting!

Have you ever been ghosted? Cheated on? Or wondered what non-monogamy is all about?
Us too! And for this Valentine's Day special, I talked to sex coach Rachel Overvoll & relationship coach Jerry Souter about things like how to address your partner's sexuality, how to know what you want in a relationship, how to experiment with things outside of your comfort zone, and we go deep (no pun intended) into relationship types and how to discuss sex & intimacy with your partner(s) amongst other things. This was the juiciest episode to date, and let me just say, we held nothing back, so this is going to be an EPIC episode to listen to.

What hurts more: a friendship breakup or a romantic one?
Depending on the relationship and years of knowing each other, I genuinely believe a friendship can hurt more! I'm being super candid in this episode about two particular friendships that ended in disaster, and completely blindsided me too. I guess you can also call this episode: how to lose a friend in 10 days or less! I'm sometimes not the best judge of character as I tend to see the great in people no matter what, hopefully after listening to this episode, you can reevaluate some of your relationships, appreciate the good ones, and let go of the bad ones #spoileralert before it ends in drama as it did for me.

What is it like to be a music artist? I used to ask myself this question when I was a kid singing along to Britney Spears and pretending my scarf was a microphone, and today I got to interview dark-popstar on the rise, Ashley Zarah. We didn't just talk about music and finding inspiration as a creator, but we dove deep into discovering your identity, forging your own path, finding a community that empowers you, and also what it's like to be Persian (and yes, food WAS discussed #yourewelcome). Ashley has a fascinating story of resilience and overcoming a lot of struggles in her life, and I hope this episode will show you how anything is possible with a little bit of work and a lot of belief in yourself.

Do you believe you can accomplish anything? After listening to this week's show, which I like to call the "get pumped" episode, hopefully, you will! In this first episode of season 3, I talk to Cat, co-founder of Cult LDN, and Hannah, Senior Art Director at Cult, about what it's like working in the advertising industry, how to follow your dreams, believe in yourself, start a business from scratch and jumping into the adventure without knowing what to expect on the other side.
This was the episode that inspired me to create my own podcasting agency, so imagine what it could do for you just from listening along...!

Have you tried online dating before? I have so you don't have to! (Just kidding, actually, you should try it one day) In this episode I talk about my love/hate relationship with dating apps, what I've seen on each one of them, and what my problem with modern dating currently is, hint: it's the fact that people don't respect each other anymore. This is one of the multiple dating series I'll be doing all year where I tell you about my awkward and funny as hell dating stories through the years.
