For one, everybody “no platforms,” in the sense of drawing hard lines about the kind of discourse they find permissible. You do it too. If you had a friend who, every time you invited him to a party, would not shut up about how black people are an inferior race, or that there’s nothing wrong with men beating their wives, etc., you would quit inviting him over, and you would probably even stop being his friend. It’s one thing if an otherwise intelligent or decent person has a particular prejudice or weakness that you can tolerate, if, say, he agreed not to talk about it around you.

We’ve all done that, and maybe people have given us that grace. There are no doubt liberal friends in my life who hate my politics, but who think me on the whole to be a good person, or at least someone worth maintaining a friendship with, so we don’t talk politics. I’m the same way with more than a few people. This is normal.

How many people in your life have you ‘de-platformed’?

The point is YOU get to decide who you hang out with and who you don’t.

What happens when the same person who has a point of view you agree with, if you knew the truth you would get along famously, but what if you never got to meet that person and you only heard was 3rd party rumor and you decided to not associate w/ that person based on 3rd party information?

The socialist policies in Venezuela is the reason Maduro is able to stay in power for so long.

Maduro understands socialism makes people poor but they want to keep that because it is easier to control poor, hungry populous.

They have voted against him last year, he only got 30% of the vote but he paid for people to vote for him and he still didn’t win. They couldn’t get the population after 26 years of power still couldn’t muster the popular vote.

I don’t think he personally likes socialism but politically he does because that is where his power comes from.

Venezuela was 93% Catholic before the Socialist revolution.

Is the faith still allowed there? You are allowed but we saw a major trend in Santeria. You didn’t see any of this until Chavez and Maduro.

You also see women in Burkas and they were imported as well.

Cuba did the same thing. The Cuban regime was much more Atheist. Chavez tried to convert a religion. He sold and made rosaries that were red with his face on them.

Venezuela destroyed its oil industry. So this is not about oil. We have had to import oil.

There is a Catholic elitism out there.

These people think they are above talking to certain people. It is very much a gala, important VIP driven world.

I don’t know what the big deal with Candace Owens is because I honestly was just never a fan. I have not turned down any interview.

She wants to be the main ‘truth teller’.

She wants Erika Kirk to come out and say Candace is right.

If this is true Erika Kirk will uphold, Charlie may have had a Catholic turning point but he never said Erika was.

We don’t have the ‘right’ to know where Charlie Kirk is buried.

Usha, the getting out in front of her faith is great because it is an issue for some young conservatives.

There is a wall and I’m tired on not talking about it.

Steve Bannon has made it very apparent to all that HE wants to be the only person over 40 that can do Catholicism and politics.
